P Performance Task Answers

• Front Crawl Basic Technique - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqTdZlqfrio

This video demonstrates the essential skills for performing the Front Crawl while swimming. Body composition,
leg kick, arm motion, breathing, timing, and coordination are all part of it. The Front Crawl Swimming
Technique is described in detail in this link. When it comes to freestyle swimming, we all know that front crawl
is one of the most popular and well-known strokes. One of the reasons is that it is the quickest technique to
swim, particularly in certain swimming competitions. We must flutter kick our feet while facing forward while
using alternate strokes to be able to perform it. Not only did this video teach me what front crawl is, but it also
taught me how to do it.
It also assists me in comprehending how it is properly executed. This movie also taught me that the things I do
when swimming are not acceptable. If You're not going to drown in the water if you only flutter kick our feet
and swim a few strokes, I reasoned. This video attracted my curiosity about a specific swimming style, such as
this one. Even if I am unable to put it into practice due to the circumstances, I believe that knowing how to do it
is adequate for me at this moment.

Learn to Swim Breaststroke Part 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v=syPEtHsI0J4

This link will take you to a page about breaststroke swimming technique. This is one of the most difficult to
master due to the time and coordination required to move the legs correctly. Despite being one of the slowest
strokes in competitive swimming, knowing how to execute it properly is critical. This stroke is also known as the
frog stroke because it is performed in a way similar to that of a frog. It took so much time to practice as the front
crawl and to ensure that the execution is flawless. Whenever we practice breaststroke kicks, which is a highly
powerful and crucial skill to master because it is one of the keys to winning. The power phase of the breaststroke
kick, which creates the majority of the four-kick velocity, and the recovery phase, which resets our legs in
preparation for the next kick, are both mentioned in the video. We must always be aware of the actions required to
perform this stroke correctly and without putting you in danger when learning it. Finally, to avoid drowning,
remember that breaststroke is meant to be slow, and never try to perform unnecessary kicks because this would
just put you in danger.

Learn to Swim Sidestroke Part 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v=heKKhNBHp98

It describes how to perform the Side Stroke Swimming Technique. This is a form of stroke in which the swimmer
lies sideways in the water while executing kicks with the help of his or her arm. When doing a side stroke, the
scissors kick demands you to pull your knees together and bend them as you move your lower legs and heels
towards our buttocks. After watching this video, I assumed it would be difficult to learn owing to the arm and leg
coordination required. Staying still above the water is really challenging for me, but after viewing this video, I
understand I still have a lot to learn about swimming. Side stroke swimming, like the breaststroke, was one of the
first strokes used in competitive swimming. The act of gliding will help us stay calm and relaxed while being
motionless in the water. The video also discussed the two-arm postures that are critical to know when learning
side stroke: the leading arm, which rests straight and stays steady in the water; and the trailing arm, which rests
straight and stays still in the water. When gliding, the leading arm rests in front of our head, and the trailing arm
rests on the side of our body. The video illustrated how to properly perform the side stroke method, which is also
known as a resting glide and a decent long-distance stroke. Performing this sort of stroke will not only help me
save my life, but it will also save the lives of others if the need arises.

Learn to Swim Elementary Backstroke - https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=WPgt7djgloQ

According to the video, this stroke consumes extremely little energy due to the motions required to complete it.
It's also one of the methods for floating on the sea and avoiding danger. To sustain a continuous stroke, it, like the
breaststroke and side stroke, requires the repetition of a movement. Because most people who don't know how to
swim are likely to have an accident, the film also showed how to perform proper arm and leg motions. It is all
about floating in fundamental strokes slowly. The instructional video also showed how to perform this stroke with
right body shape, which gave me an idea of how to do it correctly. It's easier for the swimmer to breathe while still
swimming under the water because our faces aren't submerged. As a result, I expect this stroke to be easy for me
because I already know how to do it; all I need to do now is practice the proper execution. Finally, seeing the film
has made me realize how vital it is to have a fundamental understanding of swimming skills because I know I will
be able to do and utilize them in the future.
