ACTIVITY 5.1 – GROUP WORK

Direction: In a group of five (5) members, do the following:

1. For instance, you are planning to start up a food business in the future. Can you
describe what type of food business you are planning to put up? Is it buy and sell
of various foods, is it food production, is it a canteen or restaurant, etc?

We are planning to put up a food business that's innovated by us. It offers a variety
of healthy snacks with different flavors that will surely love by everyone. It can be
located inside the malls where food carts are located. Our product cassava puto is
served as a healthy alternative snack for every Filipino. Cassava puto is quite fluffy in
texture and chewy with variety of flavors. the product incorporates different flavor not
with the normal rice puto and varying fillings that brings uniqueness and contrasting of
flavors. Yet, the product stays true to pinoy taste. Cassava puto consists of variety of
fillings such as chocolate, ube, macapuno and pastillas.

2. Who are your target market? Is it the entire population, the household, or you
have an age bracket in mind to be you customer? Why?

The product targets all the potential customers regardless of the age and gender. It
is affordable and it suits the taste of everyone

3. Based from your target market, create a Customer Persona of at least 5 individual

customers that match your business idea or product.
