SELF-LEARNING MODULE IN INQUIRIES, INVESTIGATIONS AND

IMMERSION

This Self-Learning Module (SLM) in 3I’s that I downloaded was developed by the

Department of Education which is the primary learning resource materials to be utilized by SHS

learners across the country in the new normal. This is prepared to our dear learners so they can

continue their studies and can learn while at home. Activities, questions, directions, exercises,

and discussions are carefully stated for them to understand each lesson. Each SLM is composed

of different parts. Each part shall guide them step-by-step as they discover and understand the

lesson prepared for them. Pre-tests are provided to measure their prior knowledge on lessons in

each SLM.

Prior to production of modules, careful evaluation of the details was done to ensure absence of

lapses that may create confusion among learners. LDM2 course is indeed a huge help to us

teachers as it made us appreciate the importance of quality and appropriate learning materials in

the attainment of competency. Indeed, this course serves its purpose.
