Color Doppler & High resolution Real time ultrasonography of the

Scrotum performed

Rt Testis: 43 x 20 x 24mm
Normal in size and echotexture.
                 No evidence of mass lesion.
                 No evidence of calcifications.

Lt Testis: 41 x 18 x 23mm
Normal in size and echotexture.
                No evidence of mass lesion.
                No evidence of calcifications
            
Tail of Rt epididymis is bulky and shows altered echotexture with
increased vascularity on color Doppler

Lt epididymis is normal in size & echotexture.

No evidence of hydrocele.

Color Doppler: Evidence of tortuous vessels on Lt side, maximum

diameter noted is 2.5 mm with no reflux on valsalva.   

C o n c l u s i o n : U S findings are suggestive of

Rt epididymitis.
Gr I Lt sided varicocele with no reflux on Valsalva.

Note: Not all pathological lesions are detectable on USG, advise clinical correlation &
