II. Rationale:
Vegetables are parts of plants that are consumed by humans or other animals as food. The original meaning
is still commonly used and is applied to plants collectively to refer to all edible plant matter, including the
flowers, fruits, stems, leaves, roots, and seeds. An alternative definition of the term is applied somewhat
arbitrarily, often by culinary and cultural tradition. It may exclude foods derived from some plants that are
fruits, flowers, nuts, and cereal grains, but include savory fruits such as tomatoes and courgettis, flowers such
as broccoli, and seeds such as pulses. A diet rich in vegetables and fruits can lower blood pressure, reduce
the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems,
and have a positive effect upon blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check. The importance of
vegetables at home are loaded with essential nutrients that promote better health, including antioxidants and
vitamins. Adding fresh vegetables to your daily meals is the best way to boost your health, and your loved
ones' health too. Children, in particular, will benefit from the health-giving nutrients of fresh vegetables.
Planting will help the community because it can be a beneficial addition to many communities by increasing
the availability of nutritious foods, strengthening community ties, reducing environmental hazards, reducing
food miles and creating a more sustainable system. The proposal aims to introduce the availability of safe
and healthy vegetable production at the community level. This will be realized by growing fresh and
inexpensive vegetable in the community with the active participation of the individual members. The
