Motivation letter

My name is Imran Farooq. I ‘m graduated from Virtual University of

Pakistan with major in economics and therefore I was granted a degree of
Master in business economics

I want to study urban studies in your university at master level under

Erasmus Mundus scholarship. The reason to apply for this degree is that I
belong to under developed country where there are very less urban
planners due to which my country has poor infrastructure.

All four universities under this scheme are best for studying urban studies.
The faculty of participating universities fascinated me very much. It is my
dream to study in Europe because Europe has strongest education system
in the whole world, Europe is continent of innovations, and Europe has
more history than any other continent in world like even America was
discovered only in 15th century.

Europe is made up nearly 50 or above countries and all the countries

diverge in term of language lifestyle customs etc. Europe has lots to teach
me.

I have been teaching economics to undergraduate students since last

three years so my teaching methods will also improve by doing a degree
from Europe.

Apart from work and education in my leisure time I read research papers
and different books on economics written by world class authors. I am as a
person is cool minded soft hearted and very friendly. I love to make friends.

I have planned to come back my country after doing this degree and will
join Planning development and reforms commission of Pakistan as an
urban planner.
