Outdoor cleaning and maintenance are not something people look forward to doing,

especially when the cold weather comes. It is not fun, it is tedious. Gutter cleaning is an
essential but frequently despised chore. Scooping or sweeping the gutter's debris while atop a
ladder is not only challenging and risky, but it can also leave a massive mess. Additionally,
gutter cleaning work appears unethical and carries a high danger of illness or poisoning due
to the massive amounts of debris and chemicals involved. Throwing bottles, plastics, and
other similar items into the gutters also causes them to get narrower and clog up. In many
circumstances, this results in an overflow. In order to address these concerns with modern
gutter jamming, we are presenting here a fully automated gutter cleaning robot.

In this study, researchers aim to aid house owners in doing one of the least favorite
outdoor chores, the cleaning of gutters. This study further focuses in safer, simpler, and
quicker gutter cleaning.

To address this, researchers designed the Gutter Cleaning Robot. The designed Gutter
Cleaning Robot is a remote-controlled device that you place inside the gutter. It is can also be
a self-driving robot that is equipped with bump sensors as a guidance system. The cleaning
device moves along rubberized tracks as it moves down the gutter trough, using an auger to
clear out obstructions and remove debris from the gutter. Ahead of it, the auger punches
clumps of twigs, dead leaves, and other waste with its soft, rotating blades. This robot also
has a dozer blade attachment option in addition to its auger feature. All material that was not
removed by the auger will be pushed by the dozer blade, even some heavy, muddy debris that
is jammed in the gutter.

As for the path cover by the Gutter Cleaning Robot, the bump sensor is then put to
use. This sensor detects the gutter trough to maintain the distance to the robot. Other than
that, the detachable remote-controller in the robot can be used to manually control the
direction of the robot as well as the spin speed of the auger.

This research aims to help the house owners in Tagbilaran City. To do essential
chores yet tiresome, dangerous and time consuming gutter cleaning into an easier, faster and
fun way. It also help avoid some illness caused by dirty gutters and propagation of mosquitos.
The problem such as Environmental pollution and spreading of viral diseases are avoidable.
The Gutter Cleaning Robot would reduce the risk of various diseases spread due to
accumulation of waste.
