Reflections

Maud:
My task was to edit the video and to cook the appetizer ( with Ize ) and a drink ( with Lotus).
I cook the samosa with Ize and it was very nice. With Lotus i made the Mango Lassi and that
was less delicious. But it ws a whole new experience 😊.

I think that it was very nice to do the quiz because I learned a lot of more things about the
indian festivals. And the cooking was also very nice because we make and taste new food
what we never have eaten before. It was very nice.

The cooking went very well. But the quiz not because Lotus was on vacation and Chloe was
in a theater so we needed to do it without Chloe. That was not very nice but with the
cooking it went very well. And it was delicous!

Liv:
For the video my task was to make the Indian Curry with Chloë and do the quiz with Maud
and Ize. My other tasks were to make a part of the script (the part with Indian Curry) and do
a bit of the assignment “Evidence of communication”.

My most memorable learning expierence was having to dig further into the cultural parts of
India to find knowledge about the festivals. It was pretty fun to get new knowledge about a
different part of the world. I developed my creative skills because we had to invent a video
about something i knew almost nothing about.

Our teamwork went well, we discussed everything and we did everything together. The only
thing that we could of worked on was our planning. We had to film at the last moment
because someone had to go somewhere and the other went on vacation. So we could work
on that but the rest was pretty good.

Lotus:
My task was to make the mango lassi for a drink. I also had to present the festival quiz. I read
the questions for the quiz and gave the correct answers to my other classmates. Me and
Maud made the script fort he mango lassi and filmed how we made it. My most memorable
experience to make this video was how to explain how we made our recept (the mago lassi)
in English. After this project I know more about India mostly the festivals and also the food. I
think that this project is a great way to learn more about other countries. The thing that
went well was the teamwork between me anfd my classmates and I think we did a great job
working together. What we could have done differently is to focus more into the Indian
festivals and tell more about that in the video that we made.

Chloë-Jasmijn
My task was to make the curry with liv and we filmed at my house i learned more about
cooking and i learned that making indian food is pretty hard to make . It was a really fun
thing to do togheter with my friends and i enjoyed working with them . Writng the script
wnet well but following thee script didnt really go according to plan , the filming went oky
because it was a little bit chaotic but it was fun to do so the only thhing i think we could
improve on is following the script, we had to do some things diffrent from the script because
there were some problems and some parts are not according to script because we were a bit
chaotic but overal it went really well :)

Ize:
I liked the assignment. I've done a few things myself. I made the samosa together with maud
which was very nice. I filmed the video. I helped with creating ideas. And I took the quiz. It
was very well organized and everyone participated well. I was very happy with the result.
I learned that it is good to talk to other people from other cultures. And you also learn their
habits and more things from their countries. You also learn to work together, it went pretty
well. We had made a good schedule.
We could have come up with the quiz better. And a few people weren't there. That was a
disappionting. In the end, we were able to solve it. Thats a thing that we were happy about.
But we could have made a better schedule. The result was good. We worked well together.
