EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A selection of the young entrepreneurs at the SFTI had an idea, and it was
the idea of bringing Japanese cuisine to the Philippines.
The cuisine is distinguished by the following:
Omusubi, commonly known as onigiri, is a Japanese rice ball prepared from white
rice and fashioned into triangular or cylindrical shapes before being wrapped in
nori seaweed. Our objective, particularly in the Philippines, is to demonstrate that
Onigiri can be both simple and delicious at the same time - a feat that we believe
we have accomplished. Our adobo style onigiri and sweet pork binagoongan style
onigiri are two of the many variations of the popular Filipino cuisine that we
provide here at ONI CHAN PINOY ONIGIRI; we hope you enjoy them!

This is an excellent opportunity for our product, as few individuals have ever tried
the unusual onigiri fillings, let alone eaten an onigiri * before.
Our company is well-prepared to address any complaints, misconceptions, or
suggestions from our loyal customers and clients.
To successfully replicate the amazing scents of Filipino cuisine while combining
the delicate nuances of Japanese cuisine is a difficult feat to accomplish.

C.TAGLINE
Taste it like a Champion
The term "champion" was coined following the conclusion of the 2019 World
Onigiri Championships at IUJ on April 27. The onigiri tournament challenges
teams to reinvent the traditional Japanese rice ball with new recipes including
flavors and ingredients from around the world.

D.HISTORY
PINOY ONI-CHAN ONIGIRI is the first restaurant in the Philippines to
introduce Japanese Onigiri with a twist. Students from SFTI were inspired by
anime shows, where they saw the marvelous dish called onigiri. They believed that
it could be popular and unique to the Pilipino palate, and so the SFTI students
came up with two new flavorings for the Onigiri: adobo and binagoongan. Later
on, they founded the business, which opened in December of 2021

PRODUCT/SERVICE PLAN

A -PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT /SERVICE

Our firm created this product to offer our consumers a wonderful taste of
onigiri / rice balls influenced by Japanese cuisine with a tinge of Filipino food in a
compact container. This product combines Japanese and Filipino cuisines,
highlighting the cultural and gastronomic distinctions between the two countries.
The objective of this product is to deliver a high-quality dinner at an affordable
price for our clients. Additionally, you can customize your onigiri by selecting a
filling, and we operated this business with the purpose of profiting.
B. PRODUCT UNIQUE FEATURES
We invented the Onigiri concept. Because we all like the distinctive flavor of
Japanese cuisine, particularly Onigiri. We decided to create our own Onigiri using
Filipino cuisine for the fillings. Additionally, Onigiri is not widely available
throughout the Philippines, let alone our location. Despite its origins in Japan, we
ensured that this product retained its individuality.
Onigiri is a popular Japanese snack loaded with tuna mayo, salted salmon,
and a variety of Japanese cuisines. Due to the fact that our company uses Filipino
cuisine as fillings for onigiri, our product has two different flavors. The first is
Adobo, which is a popular Filipino meal. Pork binagoongan is the second.

D. Production/Service Process and Controls

STEP 1.
Prepare the rice: Place the rice in a fine-meshed sieve and rinse well under cold
water, rubbing the grains of rice between your fingers, until the water runs clear.
This helps remove any excess starch and improves the texture of the rice once
cooked. Drain well.
STEP 2.
Combine the rice and water and cook in a rice cooker according to the
manufacturer's directions. This method will yield the best textured sushi rice.
While the rice cools slightly, prepare the onigiri filling.
STEP 3.
Make the filling: In making Pork Binagoongan, let's start frying the eggplant and
the pork and then heat the pan to start making the pork binagoongan and when the
pan is hot put oil on it wait for it to heat up then just put the onion and garlic and
sauté it and when it turns golden brown after all, put the fried pork, mix it and
follow the new one, of course wash the new one first so that it doesn't get too salty
when you cook it, then add a little vinegar to lose even a little salt, let's wait for it
to boil and follow your fried eggplant and just wait for it to boil and when you see
that the new one is cooked, turn off the stove because it's done. Then, make
another filling which is Chicken Adobo. In making chicken adobo, sauté the onion
and garlic on a hot pan with oil, then put the chicken, cook until brownish. Put
sugar and vinegar and wait for the chicken to soften. Put the soy sauce it it's
already boiling and the chicken is also already soft. Put the heat on low and let it
boil until it's cooked.
STEP 4.
Assemble: Set aside a medium bowl of room temperature water and a small bowl
of kosher salt for pinching. Once the sushi rich is cool enough to handle, start
assembling the onigiri by hand.
STEP 5.
Lightly moisten your hands by dipping them in the water bowl (this will help
prevent the rice from sticking to your hands during shaping). Sprinkle both of your
palms lightly with kosher salt and rub them together. Grab roughly a ½ cup of
sushi rice and gently press into a thick oblong shape in one palm of your hand. Add
a table spoon of the filling (pork binagoongan or chicken adobo), pinched together
with your fingertips, to the center if the rice and close the rice over the filling.
STEP 6.
Gently shape the rice ball into a wide triangular shape using the palms of one hand
and the fingers of your other hand, rotating the rice ball as you go. Avoid
compressing the rice to the hand, it should hold together well but be lightly packed.
Sprinkle the outside of the onigiri with sesame seeds. Wrap each onigiri in a nori
sheet and place an additional small spoonful of the filling on top of each onigiri.
Serve immediately.

2. B. COMPETITION

3. C. MARKET TRENDS
4. D. MARKET RESEARCH

4.2 MARKETING STRATEGIES

We are objectified, particularly in the Philippines, to demonstrate that Onigiri can
be both simple and delicious at the same time, which we believe we have
accomplished. We planned to make a twist in our product that is making an unsual
onigiri fillings using Filipino cuisine. At Oni Chan Pinoy Onigiri, we provide
adobo and sweet pork binagoongan gourmet of onigiri, just two of the many
versions of popular Filipino cuisine.
The distribution channel will be at direct level, allowing us to sell our product to
customers directly. It will take place outside and in front of Bagong Silang
Elementary School, we will establish a modest stall beside the beside the tricycle
parking place at the Langit Road, where we will be able to sell our well-packed
products to students, workers, passengers, and other passers-by. That’s why we
believe that this is an excellent location for selling our products.
In terms of promotion, we will use a three-pronged promotional mix of advertising,
sales promotions, and personal selling to inform our customers about our business.
● Advertising is any paid form of media communication. This will have a
significant impact on our business since we will be able to use social
media as a platform to promote a newly created business that produces
delectable, Japanese-inspired onigiri with a touch of Filipino cuisine.
Every entrepreneur understands that social media is a fantastic resource
for swiftly and efficiently advertising.

● Sales promotion is any initiative undertaken by an organization to

promote an increase in sales, usage or trial of a product or service. In this
case, we will offer a free sample during our initial business opening.
Based on my observations, learning, and, most importantly, experience, a
slight taste of food will increase a customer's appetite, making them extra
hungry. As a result, people will be able to purchase our goods to quell
their stomach rumblings.

● Personal Selling is a face-to-face communication between buyer and

seller. Salespeople match the benefits of their offering to the specific
needs of a client. We can sell to our target customers, who are students,
workers, commuters, and other passers-by, using this method. In addition,
as a freebie, we will give handmade photo cards to consumers who
purchase our goods. It will be an image of an anime character or a
Filipino artist because our company focuses on the cultures of Japan and
the Philippines, and this strategy will attract more customers who are
interested in not only the unique combination of Filipino and Japanese
cuisine, but also in anime merchandise.
Another method of market strategy that we will use is to create flyers that
we will distribute to our relatives and other people so that they can come to
our stall and buy our products during the first day of our business. Because
of the people gathered around our stall, this scene will attract other
individuals in the area.
