What I Have Learned (Activity 3)
1. Because it makes studying data a lot simpler and more accurate. It
helps the researchers straightforwardly interpret the data so that
researchers don't leave anything out that could help them derive
insights from it.

2. Because it helps researchers to categorize, manipulate, and

summarize the information in order to answer critical questions.

3. Quantitative research is more preferred over qualitative research

because it is more scientific, objective, fast, focused and acceptable.
However, qualitative research is used when the researcher has no
idea what to expect. It is used to define the problem or develop and
approach to the problem.

What I Can Do (Activity 4)

1.Table 3 shows that nearly 42.22 percent of the respondents are

between the ages of 21 and 30, compared to just 14.44 percent of
those between the ages of 51 and 60, and 20% of those between the
ages of 31 and 40.

This age profile is important because it represents the new Filipino

age population, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Teachers are now joining the workforce at a much younger age.

A much younger generation has the financial means to buy goods

and services.

2. Table 1 portrays 45.12 percent of the respondents that are in 16

years of age compared to 12.20 percent only who are 19 years old
and 18.29 percent that are in 18 years of age.

This age profile is significant as it also reflects the current age

demographic for Filipino children aged 0 to 4 years and above to 19
years, comprosed the largest age group making up from 10.1 to 10.7
percent according to Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Thus, students that are in 16 years of age have the capability to

consume products more than the older students within El Salvador
City.
3.Table 2 shows that 52.43 percent of the respondents are male
compared to 47.56 percent of female so the total is 100 percent
respondents by sex.

4.The table 3 above shows that 120 students out of 820 have an
allowance of 20 and below which is 14.63% of the total population or
respondents of the study. On one hand, 200 of the respondents have
an allowance that lies from 20 to below 30 which is 24.39% of the
total population or respondents of the study. There are 150 students
whose daily allowance lies between 30 to below 40 which is 18.29%
and 100 of the respondents have an allowance of 40 to below 50
which is 12.20% while

250 of the respondents have an allowance of above 50 which has the

biggest percentage of 30.49%.
