1. Tính từ chỉ tính chất

• She is a tall girl.
2. Tính từ chỉ cảm xúc
• Peter is a happy boy.
3. Tính từ chỉ trạng thái
• The country has a stable economy.
4. Tính từ chỉ số lượng, xác định
• All students need to study hard.

1. Trực tiếp trước danh từ

• Mary is a beautiful girl.

2. Gián tiếp sau danh từ

• The economy stayed stable.

LƯU Ý : những động từ sau thường là trung gian để giúp kết nối ADJ
sau nó bổ nghĩa về tính chất, cảm xúc, trạng thái cho N trước nó

✓ BE – BECOME – GET – SEEM – APPEAR
✓ STAY = REMAIN

1. Hiện tại phân từ (present participle) được dùng để mô tả
người, vật hoặc sự việc tạo ra cảm xúc → nghĩa chủ động.
• Jane’s job is boring.

2. Quá khứ phân từ (past participle) được dùng để mô tả trạng

thái hoặc cảm xúc của một người (đối với người, vật hoặc sự việc nào
đó) → nghĩa thụ động (bị tác động).
• Jane is bored with her job.

Danh từ có thể đóng vai trò của tính từ để bổ nghĩa cho 1 danh từ
khác với các ý nghĩa sau đây
1. Chất liệu
• I need a paper box.

2. Số liệu
• I have finished a 2-hour test.

3. Vị trí
• I live in Cantho city.

4. Giải thích
• I prepared the report for a construction project.

5. Chức năng
• I work for a construction company

6. Sở hữu
• Vietnam economy has seen a quick growth.
