TAWAGAN NORTE CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN Wash in School (WinS)

I. RATIONALE:
Tawagan Norte Central Elementary School (TNCES) with the
school I.D 125135 is located at Tawagan Norte,
Labanngan,Zamboanga del Sur Labangan II Districtin the division
of Zamboanga del Sur.It composed of one district supervisor Sir
Ruel M. Fuerzas. ALS head Sir Edwin Sumastre together with his
mobile teacher Sir Sony Dagdag. It composed of twenty two (22)
teachers together with the workaholic and project oriented school
principal Sir Manuel G. Anlimon. The total enrolment of the school
is four hundre six (406) as of November 2022. The school
implemented Wash in School (WinS) program.
The goal is to ensure a safe and conducive in learning
environment in school and enable children to be in best condition to
participate and learn in school. DepEd Order No. 10 s.2016-Policy
and Guidelines for the Comprehensive Water, Sanitation and
Hygiene (WASH) in school (WinS) Program stipulated that the
central office through the School Health Division of the Bureau of
Learner Support Services (BLSS) shall take the necessary
strategies and actions for the overall execusion of the WinS
program. Wash in School is a first step towards ensuring a healthy
and physical learning environment Schools with quality WASH
programs can lessen the spread of disease. Ensure every child
goes to school with WASH Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
education.
II. Strategies to achieve the purpose of WinS
The WinS for pupil goal is to train every pupils from Kinder Garteen-
Grade Six pupils including the non Graded pupils pupils on how to
properly wash their hands and give allotted time for washing before
and after meals.
1. Demonstrate the steps in handwashing and toothbrushing
2. Appreciate the Philippines WinS program is an integrated
mechanism for QA- Monitoring- Recognition.
3. Explain the process of TSA as QA- Monitoring recognition
4. Appreciate the utilization of the TSA mechanism.

III. ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1. The construction of Wash Stand located at the entrance left side of
SSES building
2. The schoolwater tank for learners , teachers visitors and stake holders.
3. The school constructed already functional and can be used for the
learners, teachers, visitors and stake holders.
4. Purchased of PV C Pipe and other accessories for the water to function
properly.
5. Purchased MRF Stand Steel bar with the amount of fifteen thousand
pesos (P15,000.00) to have reserve water anytime needed.

IV. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED:

 The problems encountered by the teachers and pupils of this


School Year 2022-2023 is the supply of water sometimes
insufficient due to the current power interruption, though we
purchased already a water tank but still the water is not
enough to cater for the needs of our school children hence,
we need enough water to maintain and cater of their need
especially such time of washing hands and toothbrushing..
 .
V.RECOMMENDATION:
 There should be a maintain supply of water for the benefits of
our learners , teachers, visitora and stake holders..
