School’s Preparation for Face to face Classes

Narrative Report

Pantar Central Elementary School has always and will always be ready if ever face to
face learning resumes. The school despite no learners always make sure that the school maintains
the environment’s cleanliness.
Classrooms advisers, in hope that we would be back to normal readied their rooms to welcome
back the learners simply by arranging and following safety protocols with accordance to the
guidelines of IATF and RHU.

The following are the actions made by the administrative office and the schools’ teaching force;

 Twice a month school sanitation of the LGU through the office of the MDRRM
 Posting of different posters and signage’s with relation to Covid-19 at all visible areas in
the school by the SDRRM.
 Building additional Group Handwashing Facility for Grade 4 and Grade 5 learners.
 Putting up see through barriers on the learner’s seat to secure that social distancing will
be implemented on some classrooms while others put furniture’s like armchairs as
physical barriers with a note that says “DO NOT SIT”.
 Distribution of Covid-19 Kit to every teacher to add to their health corners.
 Parent-Teachers Association meeting following safety protocols (wearing of face mask
and hand washing at the main gate before entering school premises and spraying of
alcohol, hand sanitation, thermal check at every classrooms) and strict observance of
social distancing.
 Teachers were asked also to prepare videos of their lessons for those learners that will not
be able to attend the limited face to face classes.
 The school were also registered to the Philippines Contact Tracing app (StaySafePh).
 Contact Tracing Forms were also made for those visitors that has no android phone to
scan the schools QR code.
 Most importantly, teachers were fully vaccinated.
 With these preparation, the school was awarded by the Department of Interior and Local
Government (DILG) the SAFETY SEAL CERTIFICATE on September 16, 2021.
