To make the most of the inevitable dull moments, it's important to know that everyone here

has practiced their cheers in order to feel at ease with the other members of the group. Allow
us to be energized by hearing the group cheer. Are you prepared to yell yet?

A pleasant morning to each and every one. As the 'Familia Georgians' continues to grow with
the addition of new family members, we are once again able to physically gather as one
family, albeit a large and happy one. And with that, I am truly happy.

In an excellent educational system, everybody wins. Good education is the key. But the
school has to lead the culture on this one. The ridiculous popularity of books like Men Are
from Mars, Women Are from Venus (Gray, 1993) is a relatively mild indication of the kind
of societal stereotypes the school has to overcome. To create an environment where diversity
is truly recognized, equity must be integrated into the core mission of each working area
within the school. This is perhaps the essence of today's event. We are extremely fortunate
because the school has worked tirelessly to make this event a reality. Breaking Gender-Based
Barriers: Creating an Inclusive Workplace Environment is this year's theme, and the topic
we'll be discussing today will help us recognize the importance of designing inclusive
environments.

I guess everyone is ready and eager to learn, participate, and enjoy today's event, so without
further delay ladies and gentlemen let’s get started.

To formally start the program, may we please call in, the grade 8 & 9, guidance teacher, Mrs.
Nancy Ramos to lead us in prayer. This will be followed by the singing of the nationalistic
song, which will be played thru an AVP.
May I request everyone to please stand? Thank you.

You may now be seated. Thank you, Ma’am Nancy, and thank you, teachers.

And now friends, ladies, and gentlemen, to give us a warm welcome message, let us give the
floor to our ever beloved, supportive, dedicated, woman of beauty beyond definition, ladies
and gentlemen, our OIC, Mrs. Rachel R. Solis. Let’s give her a round of applause, please!

Thank you so much, Ma’am Solis.

Before we get into the meat of the lecture, let's get acquainted with the house rules that will
be enforced throughout the session.
(read the house rules)

BREAK: We’ll take a break for 15 minutes. Right after that is the seminar proper.

SEMINAR PROPER: Teachers, the break is now over, and to save time for those who are not
done yet with their snacks, you can still eat while listening to the lecture.

The moment we are all waiting for is here. To help us get acquainted with what this event
will be about, to clearly state the relevance of the topic, and to introduce our guest speaker,
friends let us give resounding applause for the hardworking, intelligent, and resilient GAD
Coordinator, Ms. Anne Dominique Perez. Ma’am?
OPEN FORUM: To save time, each group will be given the opportunity to ask a question
related to the discussion; however, each group will only be allowed to ask ONE question.

Thank you, teachers.

Our guest speaker prepared a group activity for all the participants. For the instructions and
other concerns, Sir Rivera, you can have the floor now. Thank you, Sir!
