EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
VISION
The safe spCASE aims to create attractive products not just for aesthetic but
useful, make it the most popular company that sells high quality and efficient items in
the country, and build advancements that understand and satisfy customers while
giving the best service they all deserve.

MISSION
Safe spCASE will efficiently and technologically provide quality and fashionable
cases at affordable price. The safe spCASE company lead in creating a non-identical
case to help and protect people's phone.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To satisfy phone accessory costumers by developing high quality products at
reasonable prices.

2. To customize phone accessories based on consumer’s interest.

3. To render outstanding service to customers.

4. To be socially responsible by contributing to the well-being of the community

and the environment.

5. To give personal protection to the customers by making SOS Case with special
features including built-in power bank, built in flashlight, danger alarm, and
GPS.

PROBLEMS
Mobile phones have become a basic need for people in today’s world, and with
their increased usage; the demand for their accessories will continue to grow. Mobile
phones require a lot of accessories that increase their efficiency and protect your
phone. Thus, this opens a gateway for a big business opportunity. Commencing a
mobile phone accessory business can be highly profitable but launching a new product
will face some problems.

1
• Providing this kind of phone case can be expensive. How will the company be
able to lower expenses without compromising product or service quality?

• How will your company test and validate your product idea with customers?

• How much staff would be required and most importantly what are the
accessories you wish to keep?

• What is the value of your product to your customers? Not in terms of monetary
value, but in terms of how it improves their overall quality of life.

• How your company will reach out to bloggers, journalists, and industry
influencers that can help create content that will tease the product

KEY TO SUCCESS
1. A PLAN
The first need for success is to have a plan. Not many firms have this
from the start, and it frequently evolves over time.
2. PERSEVERANCE
Every new start-up business I've ever encountered finds it difficult at first,
and then it becomes much more difficult. The founders are frequently put to the
extent of their endurance, and often much beyond.
3. MOTIVATION
Circumstances will put your motivation to the test, and you'll need to be
able to sustain it for a long time.
4. CLEAR VISION OF WHAT SUCCESS IS
It will need to be updated every now and then if the goals are met or it
becomes clear that they aren't going to work. To obtain the best results for a
firm, the vision must be well understood by everyone.
5. MAXIMIZE RESOURCES AVAILABLE
Often, businesses must deal with shortages for a period of time, but this
should not be allowed to continue indefinitely — it is simply not worth it.

2
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT INNOVATION CONCEPT

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
OUTLOOK AND TRENDS
1. ECONOMY
Despite threading the needle between both the prospect of rising COVID
cases and opening the economy to additional investments, the Philippine

economy is expected to grow even faster this year. Consumers' willingness and

situations. Our opportunity to secure and maintain large-account customers for
our operational processes, as well as our ability to enter long-term contracts
with those shoppers.
2. CULTURE
With favorable economic prospects for this year and the coming years,
a slight increase in changes in culture, especially in the business world, are

for the safe spCASE.
3. LEGAL CONCERNS
To resolve legal issues by a business name, a company license, and
Tax certification is required to sustain good service and avoid dangerous
incidents for the safeness of the buyer.

Otterbox, Shopee sellers, and other small local companies, are indeed considered

5
DESCRIPTION OF VENTURE
PRODUCT
SPCASE has high-tech features such as a long-lasting built-in power bank,
precise location or GPS tracking, a brighter built-in flashlight, and a stylish design,
making it a popular choice among students. It was created to be small, light, durable,
and suitable for school use.

The case will include a button on the back that must be pressed for at least 3
seconds to activate the alarm, which can be heard from up to 200 meters away. The
3-second press duration is intended to avoid undesired activation due to unintentional
button pressing. SPCASE will support our valued users, especially those who travel
home alone at night; disabled people can also use it to inform others in an emergency.
Furthermore, SPCASE provides the fastest and latest GPS trackers with 4G satellite
technology for your safety and security. Our company will send location updates from
the GPS tracker to your most trusted person or loved ones.

Our product provides: versatility, compatibility, and accessibility. It’s number

one priority is to help you in emergency.

COMPETITIVE COMPARISON
We know that there are many companies that are already well established in
our industry. Opening a new store that sells almost the same as theirs is risky, but we
have come up with a product that makes us stand out against the other companies
with similar products. Our product has multiple uses and can be more helpful in
comparison with the products brought out by similar companies. This makes our
product different from similar products, which will attract more potential customers. We
will have a store located in Greenhill’s Shopping Center, and as most of us know, this
is a place for bargains and tons of cellphone products, but our SOS Case is different
from the quality and price of existing products because we will make sure that our
product is made of high-quality materials that can be affordable and helpful to the
customers. There is also another thing that differentiates us from similar companies:
our company helps those in need. Orphaned children abused and lonely animals, and
children who are sexually exploited.

6
When it comes to competition in providing phone cases, the entrepreneurs
confidently say that it will dominate in this kind of market as it is the most compact and
most versatile case that has been made due to additional features that are not
commonly or even seen in other cases, as some of them are for only protection and
aesthetic purposes. When it comes to competition in product innovation, this product
has an edge compared to some products that also provide all-around, multi-use, and
versatile items. Because people use their phones every day and they bring them
wherever they go, their sales will be higher compared to other related products.

SIZE OF BUSINESS
This small-sized business consists of 10 employees for the creation of the
product. If there is a need for a production boost or the expansion of a branch store,
the business size will grow further. This kind of business requires a good amount of
capital and who’ve they must have experience in installing and repairing electronic
products.

OFFICE EQUIPMENT
Wire Cutter: Stripping stranded, and solid copper wire requires the use of wire cutters.

Precision screwdriver sets, also known as jeweler's screwdrivers, are typically sold in
sets. The precision tips of each driver give these screwdrivers an advantage over
standard screwdrivers. These are extremely useful when working with electronics that
contain small screws.

When it's time to create a permanent circuit, you’ll want to solder the parts
together. A soldering iron is the tool you would use to do this. Of course, a soldering
iron isn’t any good unless you have solder to go with it. You can choose leaded or
lead-free solder in a few diameters.

BACKGROUND OF ENTREPRENEUR(S)
A group, composed of 10 members who are currently engineering students at
Bulacan State University. As an engineer, you have one choice now: "Either make
your dreams come true, or you will be hired to make someone else’s dream come

7
true." If you choose to make your dreams, come true, step forward to become a
changemaker. Entrepreneurs see opportunity in a problem. It could be any type of
problem that you see in your everyday life. The harder the problem becomes, the
better the opportunity for someone who can solve it. The larger the problem, the bigger
the opportunity.

Entrepreneurship is the process of creating, launching, and operating a new

business. Entrepreneurship affects every aspect of human life, including engineering.
Engineering entrepreneurship (Eng-preneur) is the process of harnessing business
opportunities in engineering and transforming them into profitable, commercially viable
innovations. There are numerous engineering innovations and business ideas that can
generate wealth. That is why we are striving to be successful in the future profession
that we’ve chosen.

FUTURE PRODUCT/INNOVATION
The future innovation will be an additional specification to the product itself by
installing new features that will help when an emergency comes. Other styles of phone
cases can be used as new prototypes or with another cellphone brand and cellphone
unit. Widening the scopes and limitations of product lines and the product itself is the
next step in expanding the business. We are also open to mass customization for our
business. You can request or suggest what you want in the case, and we will put it in.

10
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
Materials and equipment are inputs to manufacturing processes to produce
products. To choose the best phone case to protect your phone and to be in style, we
make sure that the materials are high quality and affordable. We also ensure your
safety, especially in case of an emergency. These materials are as follows:

Raw Materials

Silicon Cases Electricity

LED Buzzer

Leader Lithium Battery

GPS Lithium Power Bank

SUPPLIERS OF RAW MATERIALS

Manufacturing begins with raw materials, The final quality of the products you
produce can be no better than the quality of the raw materials you start with. After
assessing the market, we found a supplier that offers great products at a reasonable
price. We are producing the innovative cases with the help of our suppliers: Thunder
G Corporation, SiliCONE Institute, and Ice Hardware.

OPERATIONS PLAN
DESCRIPTION OF COMPANY’S OPERATION
CASE-OS is the first line business of phone cases offering a unique phone
accessory at the same time giving the best service to help people in emergency
situations. The operation is run by safe spCASE. In today’s competitive market,
it’s difficult to respond to increasing demands and expectations. However, we pay
greater attention to the quality of our product and service to secure a longer product
lifespan and better customer satisfaction.

• We understand the conditions (e.g., risk factors) as we plan and adjust our plan
to optimize the process.

11
• Issues related to inadequate resources and downtime are being addressed to
create optimal efficiency.
• Our service is a strong and cyclical process so that we can maintain continuity.

FLOW OF ORDERS FOR GOODS AND/OR SERVICES

This product is made to order. Each order is customized based on a customer
interest. We can also cater free delivery with a minimum order and other business
establishment particularly at phone stall. Our manufacturing organization will store
and transfer CASE-OS (or their parts) in a systematic manner.

TECHNOLOGY UTILIZATION
Technological implementation can significantly enhance business bottom-line
revenues through process improvement, wastage reduction, automation of high-risk
activities, etc. We will use technology with a simple example of mobile phones using
our social media as promotional media, and websites. The use of technology in the
field of business can make it easier for us to run an e business and be able to utilize
technology in the business world. Behind all the processes and procedures of our
technology is the driving force that keeps our organization ahead of the curve.

LICENSING AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

The importance of having a business license is to ensure that the financial
health of the young company is in good standing. Vendors, contractors and most
importantly the state and local governments need to know that your business is
legitimate. By having a business license, it tells the community that you are taking your
business seriously and is legal.

In registering License for your business, you need to determine your business
structure.

• Sole proprietorship

12
DTI REGISTRATION
Business name registration is required in the Philippines. Business name
registration with the DTI is only for sole proprietors only, since our Business does not
have a separate existence from other business, we register on DTI instead in SEC.
We register our business name Execase.

SSS, PHILHEALTH
All businesses that have employees must be registered with the SSS. It
provides retirement and health benefits to all paid up employees in the Philippines.
Members of the SS Scan also make 'salary' or 'calamity' loans. Employer will be
assigned an employer number, which will be used as reference for the remittance of
monthly contributions, composed of the employee’s contribution and the employer’s
share.

Employers are required to register themselves and their employees with

PhilHealth, the government health-care system. Upon registration, an employer shall
be issued an employer number.

MAYOR'S PERMIT
This is where we obtain a permit with the municipality where your business is
located. After securing a DTI certificate of registration for the trade name (single
proprietorship), Barangay clearance, and registration with SSS, Philhealth and HDMF,
We register and obtain a permit with the Municipality or City Mayor’s Office. The permit
affirms that our business complies to the municipality or City’s ordinances and
standards such as sanitary, fire and safety and other clearances.

BIR REGISTRATION
Obtaining and registering a tax identification number (TIN), obtaining BIR-
registered official receipts and invoices, registering the business’s books of accounts,
and paying the applicable fees. After the Mayor’s permit, we can now register our
business with the Bureau of Internal Revenue to secure a BIR Certificate of
Registration. Mayor’s Permit or application for Mayor’s Permit is submitted prior to the
issuance of the BIR Certificate of Registration.

13
GETTING BARANGAY CLEARANCE
As required by the Local Government Code, all businesses must obtain a
Barangay Clearance from the local Barangay Office where their businesses are
located.

We also submitted the following:

• DTI registration, certification for our trade name

• Contract and title of the property, where our business is located
• Fire safety certificate, It signifies that we significantly complied with the standard
requirements recommended by the Fire Safety Inspector

MARKETING PLAN
PRICING
The pricing strategy that we have chosen is the premium pricing strategy, we
have a unique product with a competitive advantage, and we can also compete with
other brands in the industry. We have a special feature, so our product has a higher
price than that of a normal phone case. This pricing strategy will also contribute to
raising money for charity. Our normal phone case will cost Php 300.00, our SOS phone
case will cost Php 400.00 same for the customized case and Php 450.00 for a
customized SOS phone case.

PROMOTION
A. ADVERTISING

• Billboard and Tarpaulin ads – this will attract customers who are always
on the move outside

magazines

14
• Facebook or Instagram (Page) – this will help us reach more potential
buyers and make them aware of our product

specific amount

reduced to stimulate buyers

product we would do the same

(November) - our charity shares will be increased for 1 week during
Christmas season

INDUSTRY
We are going to sell our product to our target market which include students
and workers going home alone from school and work, persons with disability and
anyone who feels the need to buy a device for protection. The industry of cellphones
shows a steady to high growth and more and more people own cellphones. From this
research we can draw a conclusion that more and more people feel the need to protect
their phone due to the cost of buying a new one if ever it breaks. To protect their
phones most people, buy phone cases to reduce the risk of breaking of phones. In
addition to that CNN Reported last October 2018 that there are 7037 rape cases
nationwide, so it means there is someone raped eve hour in the Philippines, not only
women are affected by this but men as well, due to drugs some men are target of
bullying and in some cases even hazing. Putting in consideration these cases we
have come up with a product that will help our fellow citizens.

15
TARGET MARKET
The SPCASE is to be sold to:

• Students or workers who go home alone specially at night

• Persons with disability who need a device to alarm someone when there is
something wrong

• Anyone who has the need to a device of protection

PACKAGING

SEASONALITY
Most of us know that our today's generation is so different to the past
generation. We are now surrounded by technology if this isn’t the right time for putting
a SOS Case in the market then when is? Putting into consideration the fast-growing
crime and harassment rates in our country it is better to be safe than sorry. Every day,
crime happens so our company put two and two together and designed a product that
will benefit the many. We all have our cellphones with us every day, anywhere,
anytime so this means you forget taking it with you wherever you go. On the first launch
of our product, there may be a small number of customers that want to try the effectivity
of our product but through the help of promotions and advertising we will reach more

16
potential buyers and reach our goal. We would not only help those in possible danger
but even those in need through our charity help.

COMPETITION
We know that there are many companies that are already well established in
our industry. Opening a new store that sells almost the same as theirs is risky, but we
have come up with a product that makes us stand out against the other companies
with similar products. Our product has two uses and can be more helpful in comparison
with the products brought out by similar companies. This makes our product different
from other similar products which will attract more potential customers. We will have
a store located in Greenhill’s Shopping Center and as most of us know this is a place
for bargains and tons of cellphone products, but our SOS Case is different from the
quality and price of existing product because we will make sure that our product is
made of high-quality materials that can be affordable and helpful to the customers.
There is also another thing that differentiates us from similar companies, our company
helps those in need. Orphaned children abused and lonely animals and children who
are sexually exploited.

students and teenagers.

business and product face a lot of new possible competitors who have
equally good products.
• Competitors with regular and loyal customers. Retaining customers is
less expensive than acquiring new ones, and customers experience is
the most cost-effective way to drive customers satisfaction. Loyal
customers ensure sales, reduce coat associated with consumer
education, and recommended you to their friends.

18
ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN
FORMS OF ORGANIZATION
The form of ownership of the company is Sole Proprietorship. A sole
proprietorship's owner does have the ultimate word in all judgements. Since there are
no shareholders or other partners, the owner has complete control over the business
direction of the business without having to answer to anyone else. Sole proprietorships
are also the most practical type of business to own. Sole proprietorships are not
permitted to develop followed by financial or appoint security personnel sole
proprietorships are unable to bring in revenue collaborates or even have shares,
eliminating the disadvantage of having to negotiate the distribution of earnings or
payout issuing. Because a sole proprietor's obligation reflects risk, financial institutions
may be hesitant to lend money or issue credit under this business structure. As a sole
proprietor, it can be harder to derive shareholder purchase because the company is
not formally recognized and is not designated to have shareholders.

persistence and hard work our business will have -17.92% which means it increased
29.92%. In the third year we will get an ROI of 11.70% and this year will give us more
net income than the capital we invested. Drawing a conclusion from the calculations
