as spCASE (short for "self-place in a case"). The unique cell phone case aims to
ensure our customers' safety, especially in emergency situations. The watermarks
broadly state the purpose of our innovated phone case. Our tagline "the features you
need, right inCASE" summarizes the goal of ordinary phone case innovation.

useful, make it the most popular company that sells high quality and efficient items in
the country, and build advancements that understand and satisfy customers while
giving the best service they all deserve.

cases at affordable price. The safe spCASE company lead in creating a non-identical
case to help and protect people's phone.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To satisfy phone accessory costumers by developing high quality products at
reasonable prices.
2. To customize phone accessories based on consumer’s interest.
3. To render outstanding service to customers.
4. To be socially responsible by contributing to the well-being of the community
and the environment.
5. To give personal protection to the customers by making SOS Case with special
features including built-in power bank, built in flashlight, danger alarm, and GPS
tracking.
PROBLEMS
Mobile phones have become a basic need for people in today’s world, and with
their increased usage; the demand for their accessories will continue to grow. Mobile
phones require a lot of accessories that increase their efficiency and protect your
phone. Thus, this opens a gateway for a big business opportunity. Commencing a
mobile phone accessory business can be highly profitable but launching a new product
will face some problems.

• Providing this kind of phone case can be expensive. How will the company be
able to lower expenses without compromising product or service quality?
• How will your company test and validate your product idea with customers?
• How much staff would be required and most importantly what are the
accessories you wish to keep?
• What is the value of your product to your customers? Not in terms of monetary
value, but in terms of how it improves their overall quality of life.
• How your company will reach out to bloggers, journalists, and industry
influencers that can help create content that will tease the product.
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT INNOVATION CONCEPT
We on SPCASE guarantees the protection of our loyal customers. SPCASE
involves hi-tech features, long-lasting built-in power bank, precise location or gps
tracking, brighter built-in flashlight and stylish design makes it one of the preferable
choices for students. It was designed to be small, light, durable, and school friendly.

The case will include a button on the back that must be pressed for at least 3
seconds to activate the alarm, which can be heard from up to 200 meters away. The 3-
second press duration is intended to avoid undesired activation due to unintentional
button pressing. SPCASE will support our valued users, especially those who travel
home alone at night; disabled people can also use it to inform others in an emergency.
Furthermore, SPCASE provides the fastest and latest GPS trackers with 4G satellite
technology for your safety and security. Our company will send location updates from
the GPS tracker to your most trusted person / loved ones.

For every product you buy our company donates to charity!
We will have three charities to choose from.

• Home for the Angels Child Caring Foundation Inc.


• Philippine Animal Welfare Society
• Maya’s Organization Philippines (prevents Children Sexual Exploitation)

Every normal case you buy 2% of the price will be given to your charity
of choice. 3% will be donated if you choose to purchase our SOS Case or a
customized phone case and 4% for a customized SOS Case.
B. TARGET MARKET
The SOS Case is to be sold to:
• Students or workers who go home alone specially at night
• Persons with disability who need a device to alarm someone when there
is something wrong
• Anyone who has the need to a device of protection

C. DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL

We will start our business with only one distribution channel. Our retail
shop will be located on the 2nd Floor of Bridgeway, Greenhill’s Shopping Center
in Ortigas Ave, San Juan, 1502 Metro Manila, this store will be open for all
customers who want to test the product or are near the location of our store.

MARKET ISSUES/TRENDS (COMPETITION, SWOT ANALYSIS)

A. COMPETITION
We know that there are many companies that are already well
established in our industry. Opening a new store that sells almost the same as
theirs is risky, but we have come up with a product that makes us stand out
against the other companies with similar products. Our product has multiple
uses and can be more helpful in comparison with the products brought out by
similar companies.
This makes our product different from other similar products which will
attract more potential customers. We will have a store located in Greenhill’s
Shopping Center and as most of us know this is a place for bargains and tons
of cellphone products, but our SOS Case is different from the quality and price
of existing product because we will make sure that our product is made of high-
quality materials that can be affordable and helpful to the customers. There is
also another thing that differentiates us from similar companies, our company
helps those in need. Orphaned children abused and lonely animals and children
who are sexually exploited.

B. SWOT ANALYSIS

I. STRENGTHS
1. Top quality products at reasonable prices.

Our business offers SOS phone case made from high grade
material. These are sourced from reliable suppliers. These premium
quality SOS phone cases are reasonably priced.
2. The phone cases are handy and captivating.
Cellphone cases are perfectly fit in most of the cellphone brands
and styles for customers convenience. They also come in cute and
captivating designs that catch the customers attention and entice them
to buy the product.
3. The phone cases have multiple features.
caSe-OS is a multi-functioning case that has built-in power bank,
built-in flashlight, danger alarm (SOS), and GPS tracking.

II. WEAKNESSES
1. The business or product is not yet promoted.
The product is new to the market that is the reason there is no
promotion or advertisement in public
2. Limited consumer target group
The product is targeted to sell in students and teenagers.

III. OPPORTUNITIES
1. New products
caSe-OS can target a new customer by creating a customize and
innovative cellphone cases for example (Name of the brand) is a
cellphone case offered to the students and in any age. It is a way to
diversify the product while expanding its target market.
2. Customers who are lookout for quality cellphone cases with
multiple purpose.
With the low-priced cases, it can easily attract customers who are
looking for high grade cellphone cases.

IV. THREATS
1. Possible newcomers to the market.
The phone cases/accessories industry is growing. With its
continuous growth and development, the business and product face a
lot of new possible competitors who have equally good products.
2. Competitors with regular and loyal customers.
Retaining customers is less expensive than acquiring new ones,
and customers experience is the most cost-effective way to drive
customers satisfaction. Loyal customers ensure sales, reduce coat
associated with consumer education, and recommended you to their
friends.

PRICING STRATEGY

The pricing strategy that we have chosen is the premium pricing strategy, we
have a unique product with a competitive advantage, and we can also compete with
other brands in the industry. We have a special feature, so our product has a higher
price than that of a normal phone case. This pricing strategy will also contribute to
raising money for charity. Our normal phone case will cost Php 300.00, our SOS phone
case will cost Php 400.00 same for the customized case and Php 450.00 for a
customized SOS phone case.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

A. LICENSING AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS


The importance of having a business license is to ensure that the
financial health of the young company is in good standing. Vendors, contractors
and most importantly the state and local governments need to know that your
business is legitimate. This tells the community that you are taking your
business seriously and is legal.

I. DTI Registration
Business name registration is required in the Philippines. Business
name registration with the DTI is only for sole proprietors only, since our
Business does not have a separate existence from other business, we
register on DTI instead in SEC. We register our business name safe
spCASE.

II. SSS, PhilHealth


All businesses that have employees must be registered with the
SSS. It provides retirement and health benefits to all paid up employees
in the Philippines. Members of the SS Scan also make 'salary' or
'calamity' loans.
Employer will be assigned an employer number, which will be
used as reference for the remittance of monthly contributions, composed
of the employee’s contribution and the employer’s share.
Employers are required to register themselves and their employees with
PhilHealth, the government health-care system. Upon registration, an
employer shall be issued an employer number.

III. Mayor's permit


This is where we obtain a permit with the municipality where your
business is located. After securing a DTI certificate of registration for the
trade name (single proprietorship), Barangay clearance, and registration
with SSS, Philhealth and HDMF, we register and obtain a permit with the
Municipality or City Mayor’s Office. The permit affirms that our business
complies to the municipality or City’s ordinances and standards such as
sanitary, fire and safety and other clearances.

IV. BIR Registration
Obtaining and registering a tax identification number (TIN),
obtaining BIR-registered official receipts and invoices, registering the
business’s books of accounts, and paying the applicable fees. After the
Mayor’s permit, we can now register our business with the Bureau of
Internal Revenue to secure a BIR Certificate of Registration. Mayor’s
Permit or application for Mayor’s Permit is submitted prior to the
issuance of the BIR Certificate of Registration.
V. Getting Barangay Clearance
As required by the Local Government Code, all businesses must
obtain a Barangay Clearance from the local Barangay Office where their
businesses are located.

standard requirements recommended by the Fire Safety Inspector.

TECHNOLOGY
A. Power bank Purpose - communication is very important especially when there
is disaster. for example, your phone battery is low, the primary purpose of this
phone case is to support the battery life of your phone and for you to charge
your phone when there is a power interruption in your place.
B. Flashlight Purpose - is to support the battery of the phone. to charge the
battery of the phone because when you change your phone, your main purpose
is to get battery, and if you will use the flashlight of your phone while charging,
it will slow the charging of your phone. so, the main purpose of the case
flashlight is to use it instead of your phone's flashlight so you will not consume
your phone's battery while charging.
C. Danger Alarm Purpose - is to track the person who is trap in certain place.
you can use the alarm to crime prevention too, you can on the alarm if you feel
something uncomfortable in your surroundings. (The alarm is limited at 200m
only)
D. GPS Tracker Purpose - There is limitation on GPS tracker on phone because
it consumes a battery lifespan especially when the danger alarm is on. GPS
tracker will only support the danger alarm, when the alarm goes on you can
track the person thru GPS tracker. Our case is shockproof to prevent any
unnecessary circumstances.

Innovation is the introduction of something new and it is where the progress
and conceptualizing happen. The safe spCASE company offers up to date protection
to the community by giving the customers first-rate products and will be able to have
a shield using a case with special features. A certain percentage of the company’s
profit will be directed to the chosen charities that will greatly benefit them and it can
cause the world to be a better place by practicing giving and support the
underprivileged. This innovation has become an important tool for addressing crucial
social concerns and dangers to society by resolving collective problems in an efficient
way with the new technology. In government, the innovation impacts the lives of the
people, shape the future together and control the thinking to embrace new technology
and ideas. Products with technological features are considered as a major source of
economic growth and it will widen its market, increase sales, and earn huge profits.
