Dear Scholarship Committee:

My name is Cameron Price, and I am currently a senior at York High School. I hope to apply for this
scholarship in order to aid in furthering my education at Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln,
Nebraska. I think that I am a great candidate for this scholarship because I am hardworking and have a
brother who is finishing college this year. I will be needing assistance in the financial aspect of college
considering that my parents already have a burden in helping him get through college. I hope to receive
this scholarship so that I am not overwhelmed by debt for the next few years or rest of my life.

I believe that I am a good candidate because of my determination to do things to the best of my ability. I
believe that my various experiences such as volunteer hours for the National Honor Society, highschool
greenhouse, Nebraska Community Blood Bank, as well as others has taught me to be helpful and of
service to others. Through the two years that I have worked at Fitness Worx, I have learned many helpful
life skills. My job has taught me the value of working well with others, and learning to save my money
and work hard for what I have. I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to be in FFA, where I have
held different leadership positions and been able to develop, learn, and take on responsibilities. I have
been able to keep up my academics through high school as well, and will be finishing with a 3.9 GPA and
45th out of 105 in my class. Through the many activities that I have participated in, as well as having a
job, it has been hard to balance many things at once, but has also taught me invaluable lessons.

This scholarship will be very valuable to me as the cost of Bryan will be an estimated $18,000 per year.
My parents have always been very supportive and been able to help with the financial needs of my
brother and me. However, they have had to sacrifice other things such as things that they have wanted or
needed to do in order to make sure that our house and family is taken care of. I don’t want them to have to
take on the debt that comes with me going to college and will want to help them in any way possible. Any
scholarship that I receive, I will be overjoyed and thankful for, that others want to help and support my
needs and dreams.

I will be putting this scholarship to good use as I plan on entering a career in Medical Aesthetics, and
giving back to and servicing those that need it. A goal of mine is to get employed at a dermatologist
office, being able to provide the best and most efficient procedures to clients. I hope to receive enough
money that I am able to pay my way through college without putting in many working hours, in order to
spend as much time as possible focusing on school and doing what I need to get the best grades possible.

Sincerely,

Cameron Price
