Students will give their prior knowledge about the issue of the West Philippine Sea.
The teacher will post pictures about Filipinos, their culture , job, language, and some ethnic
groups and students will define Nation based on the examples.
Students will identify on which article of the 1987 Philippine Constitution does the
National Territory belong and explain the other territories of the Philippines and its
jurisdiction over them
Ask students the question: who owns the West Philippine Sea based form the UNCLOS
arbitration decision. Let the students explain their answer.
Student will will enumerate the other territories of the Philippines.
How important are your rights?
Differentiate Nation and Stae Why the UNCLOS helped resolved the issue in the West
Philippine Sea?
Give three tenets cited under Article 1 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
