Q:1:What is real number
Ans : Real numbers can be defined as the union of both rational and irrational numbers. They
can be both positive or negative and are denoted by the symbol “R”. All the natural numbers,
decimals and fractions come under this category. See the figure, given below,.

Example :
What should be multiplied to 1.25 to get 1?

Solution: make 1.25 = 125/100

Multiply 100/125 with 125/100 we get 1

125/100 × 100/125 = 1
rational find numbers between
1/2 and 3/5. five

Solution:
We shall make the denominator same for both the given rational number

(1 × 5)/(2 × 5) = 5/10  and (3 × 2)/(5 × 2) = 6/10

Now, multiply both the numerator and denominator of both the rational number by 6, we have

(5 × 6)/(10 × 6) = 30/60  and (6 × 6)/(10 × 6) = 36/60

Five rational numbers between 1/2 = 30/60 and 3/5 = 36/60 are

31/60, 32/60, 33/60, 34/60, 35/60.

Q:2:What is Classification of
Numbers?

Ans:
The classifications of numbers are:
real number, imaginary numbers, irrational number, integers, whole
numbers, and natural numbers. Real numbers are numbers that land
somewhere on a number line.

Q:3:What is  Basic Operations and

laws?
Ans:
The four operations of mathematics are mathematical functions which take input values (that is,
numbers) and convert them into output values (again, that's another number). They are:
addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Q:4:What is Number line and   ordering

of Real Numbers?
What is number line ?

Ans:  A number line can be defined as a straight line with numbers placed

at equal intervals or segments along its length.A number line can be extended
infinitely in any direction and is usually represented horizontally.
Example:Ifyou need to represent the number 40, then you can choose a scale of 5, 10 or 20.

Representation on Number Line

Below are the steps the whole numbers to
represent on number line:

 Draw a straight line.

 Mark a point at the extreme left as 0.
 Mark another points to the right of
0. Label them as 1, 2, 3,… The distance
between these marks must be uniform. They
are said to be at a unit distance from one
another.

Ordering of real numbers?

Ordering of real number is the act of listing the numbers from smallest
to largest with numbers that are further to the left on the number line
being considerd smaller than the number that are further to the right

Q:5:What is Exponent?

Ans :
An exponent refers to the number of times a number is multiplied by itself.
Fof example:, 2 to the 3rd (written like this: 23) means: 2 x 2 x 2 = 8. 23 is not the same as 2 x 3 = 6.
Remember that a number raised to the power of 1 is itself.
