following questions:

1. Do you feel you have a choice in the society? Why or why not?

Yes, I believe I have a choice in the society because in Article 10 of the 1987 Philippine
constitution states that to protects your right to hold your own opinions and to express them
freely without government interference. As a Filipino we have a right as a citizen and as a
member in a country.

2. In your opinion, can an adolescent initiate change in the society? Why or why not?

In my own opinion I do believe that an adolescent (18 years old and above) initiate change in
the society because an adolescent has a higher responsibility and commitment than the
children. Adolescent can do better rather than a child or a kid.

3. Do you feel optimistic or pessimistic about the future of the country? Why?

Yes, it has a positive effect in our future because as far as I observed in our country the GDP
were growing at 6.9 percent as of this year. This is one among indications that our country is
on its growing country. And on the other side I don’t see any negative outcome and also, we
can see that the projects in our current administration were helpful not only in the present but
also, they are planning it for a long term of upcoming future.

4. Do you feel optimistic or pessimistic about being a Filipino? Why?

I am proud of being a Filipino because as foreign country says that we Filipino always happy
whatever happened also we, Filipinos, always helping each other in any calamities that we’ve
encountered.
ASSESMENT 1.4

Instructions: Choose a particular political or societal issue that you feel strongly about.
Write down the nature of that issue in the box below and answer the questions.

1. Why do you feel strongly about this issue? Explain

Well for me these issues are very popular in our country. One of the issues were lack of
support in every barangay. Barangay Road, support local farmers and so on. If this could be
resolved by our local government with no political issues, this could be not a problem by any
provinces or local government.

2. Are you happy being a Filipino? Explain

I am happy for being a Filipino because we Filipinos have experience straggles, calamities
and trials but we still stand as one. No one left behind (bayanihan) as we can see in any social
updates regarding calamities and also, we all know that Filipinos were keep on supporting
our national and local in any events, pageantries, or social support. We, Filipinos, always
make solutions in any problem.
