The assessment measures the reading comprehension of students to read grade-appropriate materials and answer
questions based on what they have read. The results present an ample distance of students’ reading knowledge and
skills. 1% are comprehension non-readers, 30 % frustration, 40% instructional, and 29% independent. As shown in
the graph majority of the students from grades 4,5 and 6 are at the instructional level.

This was conducted after the Christmas break. Results are reported as wide percentages of students performing at
above 14 scores on their achievement levels and are able to pass the Group Screening Test. If we compare to the
previous Test we made, we can see that the initiated and implemented different reading activities, interventions, and
strict implementation of reading remediation are effective. The most recent reading assessment was given in February
2023, which results in scores above 14, 53% while below 14, 47%. Approximately, it improves to 321 students from
grades 4,5, and 6.

Comparing the frustration readers, a decrease from 33 point seventy eight % to 9 point fifty two percent can be seen on the
graph presented. Pupils established the strengths and weakness in reading. The tracked reading level addresses the learners
reading needs.
