MOTIVATION LETTER

Dear committee and team of OLMA 2022. Greetings, my name is Callista Putri
Bourdeau from Surakarta, Central Java. In this letter, I would like to express my interest
and explain my reasonings on why I am motivated to join OLMA 2022.

I first acknowledged the existence of ALSA as an organization in high school,

when I went and compete in the 9th ALSA English Festival Debate Competition. It was
a wonderful experience, but at that time I wasn’t really interested to learn more about
ALSA. Fast forward to 2021, I was given a chance to study law in Diponegoro University
and during student orientation, ALSA LC Undip really caught my eye. A few months

later I saw a post about ALSA recruiting students to become committees for the 11th
ALSA English Festival, so I submitted my application, attended the interview, and
officially became a committee. Becoming an ALSA E-fest committee gave me insight
about their strong bond towards each other, the fun and exciting activities, and their
willingness to expand their knowledge of new and foreign things. That experience
became more than just a motivation, but a drive to ensure I can keep being a part of that
in the future. I am certain that I can be a valuable asset to ALSA LC Undip’s development,
and that they can also help me grow and evolve into a better person.

I believe attending OLMA 2022 will provide me a lot of benefits eventually, such
as broad networking and relations, vast knowledge in various subjects, more experienced
and skillful in legal and organizational matters, also a better proficiency in English. Thank
you!

Sincerely,
Callista Bourdeau.
