1. I- believe media literacy is essential because it helps people to understand the messages that
are being conveyed or communicated to them. Also, it enables individuals to interpret and make
informed judgements or decisions as information and media user, as well as to become skillful
creators and producers of information and media messages in their own right.

2. I believe to become literate in media and information technology, it is important for us, as
readers or viewers, to approach the media with an open mind and with the intention of
understanding or analyzing what is being presented because technology Literacy is define as the
ability of an individual to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, create and communicate
information by using technological tools responsibly, appropriately and effectively.

3. I believe it can be hard to determine what is reliable and true given the amount of information
that is shared on social media platforms. No matter how persuasive their arguments seem to be,
not all written sources are reliable. It's important to remember that not all of what you see is
reliable. It's advisable to approach new information critically and to look up the original sources
to confirm its accuracy.

1. Social location is important because it acknowledges that all people in a society don't
understand or perceive reality in the same way. Despite having many advantages, people in
privileged positions can be blind or may fail to understand the social experiences of those who
have faced prejudice or discrimination.

2. The following features are used by society to judge individuals. With the use of these features,
social identity is affirmed. All these features are attributed to a person, and they significantly
have an impact on one’s present and future. They provide opportunities for some people from
lower social classes because they are prioritized in several institutions. Also, a lot of businesses
offer jobs based on gender and religion.

Thus, these features can impact the present and future largely.

3. The government responds to the needs of those people who belong to the social location that is
the same as mine through treating each individual equally by creating livelihood projects,
facilities, and roads for them to live well and to have a strong bond within the community.

WHAT’S NEW

1. This picture shows the eye of a person. I considered it art because it is a drawing that was sketched
with a pencil. Also, the artist used some kind of technique by shading and fading some areas of the art,
which makes it look more realistic and natural.

2. This picture shows a rice cake. I considered it an art form because of how the rice cake was wrapped
in the leaves. The person has his/her own technique to shape it like a diamond in such a way that it
appears attractive and appetizing.

3. This picture shows a clay stove. I considered it an art form because of how it was molded into a
perfect circle. Also, the outer shell, on which the cooking pot sits, was evenly distributed on top of the
stove. Furthermore, the opening hole, where the fire and charcoal were inserted, was finely placed in
the middle.
