II. OVERVIEW
This topic discusses the different concepts pertaining to culture. Indigenous cultural
communities through the centuries, had taken pride in their culture and had been a part of
their identity

III. DESIRED LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the chapter, the students should be able to:


1) Discuss the different concepts and theories that pertain to culture.
2) Relate these concepts in understanding the indigenous cultural communities in the Philippines.
