I. Anchored to Proclamation No. 227 s. 1988 declaring the first week of March each year as
Women's week and March 8 as Women's Right and International Peace Day, the City Schools
Division of Dasmariflas will be conducting activities on March 2022 regarding the
NATIONAL WOMEN'S MONTH CELEBRATION with the Theme: Agenda ng
Kababaihan Tungo sa Kaunlaran. Division kick-off ceremony will be on March 8, 2022, and
culminating program on March 31, 2022, both at 9:00 AM via YouTube and Facebook live.

2. The celebration aims to:

a. highlight the gains achieved for women and girls, assess actions towards gender equality;
b. look forward to steps that must be taken to ensure progress in empowering women; and
c. give Juanas the power to lay down the blueprint for future leaders, in terms of essential
gender issues that demand immediate attention and solution.

3. The Division Office, including All Public Elementary and Secondary Schools are encouraged to
undertake similar activities during the campaign period(please see attached schedule of activities)

4. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum to all concerned is earnestly desired.
