Minutes of Meeting

MINUTES ON THE CONDUCT OF THE ANNUAL MEETING/ASSEMBLY OF SUPREME

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ON , HELD AT SSG OFFICE IN GUINSANG-AN NATIONAL
HIGH SCHOOL.

The meeting started at 3:00 pm with the checking of attendance to all new sets of SSG
Officers and members by the secretary 98% of SSG Officers and members are at present.
Agenda during the meeting were as follows:1.

Report progress in making Pupils Policy S.Y. 2022-2023

Report progress in the proposed school project S.Y. 2022-2023 The meeting was
presided by the new president Cathy P. Marabi. The policy approved on S.Y.2022-2023
was discussed. And they found out that the policy was made last S.Y.2021-2022 has
not being implemented. There were suggestion that the policy would remained but the
policy should be strengthened to the benefits of the pupils and the school campus.

The Report Progress of the proposed project for S.Y.2022-2023 was discussed first by
SSG adviser,Asher Bueno and the New President Cathy P. Marabi added to it for further
consideration. The suggestion had been done but there was not enough amount of
budget intended for the school project accomplishment. Again, the body suggested
raising fund through solicitation from the SSG officers and not from the student of
Guinsang-an National Hight School.

The meeting ends well and adjourned at exactly 4:3

Proceedings:

The first SSG meeting was held on September 22, 2022 at SSG Office. There were 100%
of officer who signed at the attendance as they arrived at the meeting area. The meeting
was expected to start at 1:00 PM but some of the officers attended late because of the
their class. With this, the SSG adviser and President had to wait for the quorum to start
the said meeting.The meeting was formally started at 2:00 in the afternoon with a short
prayer presided by Aldrin Lazona.
 
The first agendum was the declaring for the school policies stated in the Guinsang-an
National High School. Some important policies were pointed out such as wearing of
prescribe uniforms for senior high, proper hair cut for the boys and at
tending the flag ceremony. Student’s progress and performance as well as the student’s
behavior in school were also tackled which was listed as the second agendum of the
meeting. Encouragement as to good performance was once again emphasized making
them aware of the roles they played as officers of the campus. They were also reminded
to encourage their classmate to avoid bringing cellphones or using it during class hour.

The next agendum which was communicated and discussed properly to the SSG officers
also the SWM officers was garbage disposal policy. It was explained to the both officers
that one of the challenge being faced of the school was the waste disposal. They were
encourage to let their classmates bring their own waste/garbage as they leave the
school. The use of tumbler or other water container was also encourage to lessen the
use of plastic bottles. This was agreed upon by the SSG adviser and SWM adviser as
they also suggested on how to lessen the garbage of the school.

The last agendum was the SSG Project; it was communicated to the SSG Adviser and the
Principal to have one project for the students, and it was the beautification of the
basketball court and other sport fields. The SSG adviser Mr. Bueno delivered this to the
officers and asked them if they have any idea on the expenses on the suggested project.
Officers suggested to canvass first on the said project. The Project was done at february
17, 2023.

The meeting adjourned at 5:00 in the afternoon.
