    Life in the Arctic

    N = Narrator, L = Lukasi

    N: The Arctic in March, a place with no plants, no trees, and no food. Lukasi is an Inuit.

    He’s from North East Canada.

    L: In the land of the Inuit there is nothing to grow. We can’t farm anything.

    N: Lukasi and his friends travel a long way to find food. It’s very cold. They make an igloo.

    Outside it’s minus forty five degrees Celsius. But in the igloo, it’s sixteen degrees.

    There is food under the ice. It’s very dangerous. But there is something good to eat.

    Mussels.

    L: [caption] These mussels are great!

    N: Lukasi and his friends are hungry. But there is food for everyone.
