CONTINGENCY PLAN

Actors

As I am only using one actor, my first choice that I have asked for is Alana Irvine-Bulle as I
think she is most suitable for the role with her prior experience with acting, as well as her
being able to easily interpret the character. If she isn’t available last minute, I have asked
Zoe Green to be a backup in case Alana isn’t available. Zoe has long dark hair which is quite
similar to the colour hair that Alana.

Location

- NYC Apartment – location

For locations, I have put down my first choice which would be Ruby’s aunt’s apartment in
Eton as I have been there before for a previous filming project, and I think it would suit the
production well. As I am not entirely sure if I could use this location as of now, I have also
put down Ruby’s grandad’s house attachment. This location isn’t used that much by the
owner so it could be a good option. If that location doesn’t work, a classmate of mine, Niall,
has open apartments below his one that isn’t being used. If that doesn’t work, Alana’s
bedroom has that edginess that I want, and it is already decorated how I want to be. I needs
a couple lighting sources to shoot in at night but I think this might be a good option if all
goes to worst. Last port of call, if anything else doesn’t work, my bedroom work well for the
location as it is already decorated and has enough space to move around in.

- Forest – location
My first choice would be the woods behind Rotherfield Campus at The Henley College as it is
quite easy to get to for crew members. I know the location quite well and I think it would be
easy to choreograph as it has the pathway that I wanted, with having enough trees and
bushes in the background. If this isn’t available for some reason, I could also use the location
of Maidens grove which is relatively near Henley. I didn’t want to put this as first choice as I
am not sure how to get to it as I only have seen the forest bit of it.

Costumes

Punk outfits Scene 3

- Because this is the main costumes for scene 3, I have made sure that we have
enough outfits and clothes to bring along for filming. I have also made sure that we
have enough accessories to available if there is anything we need to change if it
doesn’t look right. If for some reason, we do not have clothes available, we will then
have to make do with the clothes we have already on. Alana’s style is quite edgy so
this wouldn’t be a big issue.
Dress
- If there is a situation where we need to film scene 2 before scene 1, I will have to
make then two dresses, one trashed with fake blood and stains, and the other one
clean for the apartment shoot. I think this would be the easiest solution as I will have
more flexibility with arranging film shoots.
Cinematography – CAMERA ASSISTANT

I did mention before in my proposal that I would like to rather learn from classmates and
teachers who potentially specialise or know more about that skill more than me. I did ask
Charlie if he would be willing to help me film the production as he is quite skilled in the
cinematography area, and knows more about it than me. If he isn’t available for a specific
shoot, I will ask Archie who is also quite skilled in that area to help me. To me it is a quite
important to have either of them as I would like to learn more about cinematography while I
am on shoot as I know that I will learn more from that experience. They will act as an
camera assistant.

Equipment

I will be using Charlie’s camera and gimble for the main shoot, however, if there is an issue
with the camera, I will also bring in my camera as a backup if his batteries die while
shooting. We can share lenses as I will also bring the same brand camera as he does. If for
some reason that the gimble doesn’t work to film arc shots, I don’t have a problem with
filming handheld with the camera, and filming a arc shot with that.
