Direction: Create a concept map to communicate information about the following questions.

a. Identify five purposes why a teacher gives assessments to their students.

b. Based on the five purposes of assessing students, which is the most important?
c. Give an example of an assessment more applicable in a 21 st-century classroom. Explain
why?

I believe that determining if students

have acquired knowledge from the MOTIVATE
lesson is the primary objective of the
STUDENTS

evaluate if the educational objectives
have been achieved.

GOALS AND LEARNING I

In my opinion, a group exercise is a more suitable form of assessment for a 21st-century classroom
because it promotes cooperation and collaboration among students. This type of activity allows for
brainstorming and the development of individual potential, while also being engaging and enjoyable
for students
