A RESOLUTION RE-ADOPTING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2010-0010 ISSUED BY

THE OFFICE POLICY ON THE MICRONUTRIENT SUPPLEMENTATION TO SUPPORT
ACHIEVEMENT OF 2015 MDG TARGERS TO REDUCE UNDER-FIVE AND MATERNAL
DEATHS AND ADDRESS MICRONUTRIENT NEEDS OF OTHER POPULATION GROUPS.

WHEREAS, new preparation of micronutrient supplements that could lead of the deficiencies have been
developed and are now available in the country;

WHEREAS, the previous of AO No. 2007-0045 Zinc Supplementation and Reformulated Oral
Rehydration Salt in the Management of Diarrhea, complements the previous of DOH’s AO No. 2008-029 on the
Health Reforms for Rapid Reduction of Maternal and Neonatal Mortality;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, in consideration of the above

premises, we Barangay Council hereby re- adopt Administrative Order No. 2010-0010 by the office of the
Secretary, Department of Health Entitled Revised Policy on Micronutrient Supplementation of Support
Achievement of 2015 MDG Targets to Reduce Under-Five and Maternal Death and Address Micronutrient Needs of
Other Population Groups
