Prayer Leader Assignment

On the assigned week you will submit a copy of the weeks activities to the classroom
teacher.. Our daily prayer/reflection will occur at the beginning of class each day. Your
prayers should focus on some of the themes discussed in class however you may choose
to focus your prayer on a personal topic of choice.
One the assigned week you will:
a) Lead the class in prayer for one week
b) Use resources made available in our classroom (prayer table, books, religious
items,)
c) Be CREATIVE! Enhance the prayerful tone of the classroom by adding your
personal touches.
Your prayer week must include a combination of the following:
i) A personal prayer
ii) A reading from scripture
iii) Reflection/Journal Topic
iv) Music/Symbols/Pictures
v) Poetry/Short Stories/Articles
vi) Petitions
vii) Short Class Activity
It is your responsibility to be prepared for your presentation. This includes arriving to
class on time or ahead of time to set up.

Evaluation: -1 mark if you do not hand in a printed package to the teacher-keep a copy
for yourself.
