FADE IN:
1 EXT. BUS – DAY
THE SCENE opens with a man whom we will find to be the main
character, Crisostomo Ibarra, leaving the bus. He looks around,
holding a set of papers and scratches his head.
He pulls out his phone and scrolls through his messages and
finds the most recent one, from his wife Maria Clara, stating
that she will meet him right when the bus pulls over.
Ibarra looks over to his right and sees Isagani walking over to
him. Ibarra runs towards him in fear and worry.

IBARRA
(panting)
“Isagani! Alam mo ba kung saan-”
ISAGANI
“Si Maria Clara?”
Ibarra quickly nods to when Isagani mentions Maria Clara.
ISAGANI
“...Kanina pa siya wala. Sabi niya magkikita daw siya dito
pero sa halip ikaw lang ang hinahanap ko. Anong nangyari?”
Ibarra’s breathing starts getting more and more intense. His
hands and legs start shaking as he quickly runs away.
ISAGANI
“Hoy! Anong nangyari? Ibarra! Anong nangyari kay Maria?
Ibarra!”
CUT TO:
2 INT. IBARRA’S HOUSE – DAY
Ibarra arrives to his home and quickly paces back and forth in
fear and worry.
He starts having an existential crisis and because of his
stress, he accidentally drops his papers.
He looks at them, then wonders for a bit. Then, it clicked in
his head.

IBARRA
“…Basilio.”
He quickly grabs a jacket that he left on a table and wears it.
He stuffs the papers in his bag and heads out of his house to
meet Basilio, and old friend of his.

CUT TO:
3 INT. 1st FLOOR ENTRANCE – DAY
THE SCENE opens to Basilio and his friend Isagani. They walk
around the hallway for a little bit.
ISAGANI
(bored)
“Basilio, umaasa akong may mangyayaring kawili-wili ngayon.”
BASILIO
“Hm. Baka may mangyayari. Hindi ko alam.”
Suddenly, they hear a whistle coming from the center of the
stairs, calling for their attention. They turn their heard to
look at what it was about.
ISAGANI
(confused)
“Ha??”
BASILIO
“Ay, si Ibarra lang pala. Baka may gusto siya sa akin?”
ISAGANI
“Aba, mahuhuli yata kita mamaya, Basilio.”
BASILIO
“Sige, ingat ka, Isagani.”
Isagani walks to the exit of the building while Basilio walks to
the center of the stairs to meet Ibarra.
BASILIO
“Hoy, ano gusto mo?”

IBARRA
(glaring)
“Bantayan mo ang iyong bibig. Mayroon akong seryosong
negosyong pag-uusapan.”
BASILIO
(laughing)
“Hay, ganito lang ako magsalita. Sige. Anong meron?”
IBARRA
“...Sundin oa ko.”
Ibarra starts walking away to somewhere else. Basilio was
confused but he followed Ibarra anyway.
CUT TO:
4 INT. RESTROOM – DAY
Ibarra stares at Basilio with a serious expression. He sighs and
decides to talk.
IBARRA
“...Nawalan ako ng asawa.”
BASILIO
“Oh, pasensya sa pagkawala mo.”
IBARRA
(vexed)
“Hindi ko ibig sabihin na namatay siya! Ang ibig kong
sabihin ay nawala na ang aking asawang si Maria Clara!”
BASILIO
“Oh, akala ko ibig mong sabihin... ngunit bakit mo ito
binanggit sa akin?”
Ibarra reaches to his backpack and pulls out papers with
writings.
IBARRA
“Matapos mawala si Maria, nakita ko ang mga ito sa aking
paghahanap. I felt hopeless, pero gusto kong subukan.”

Ibarra puts his hands on Basilio’s shoulders and looks at him
with a serious expression.

IBARRA
“Basilio, tutulungan mo ba akong hanapin si Maria Clara?”
Basilio was shocked by what Ibarra had just asked.
BASILIO
(nervous)
“Ha? Ako? Hindi ko alam, pero...”
Basilio starts to zone out as he remembers a part of his past
love life. He gets his thoughts together, shakes Ibarra’s hand,
confirming his alliance with him. Ibarra smiles.
CUT TO:
5 INT. 1ST FLOOR ENTRANCE – NOON
We cut to Basilio sitting at the bottom of the stairs, stuffing
his sling bag with snacks.
IBARRA
“Basilio. Handa ka na ba?”
Basilio looks up and sees Ibarra walking down the stairs.
BASILIO
(ecstatic)
“Oo, handa na ako.”
ISAGANI
“Basilio, sandali!”
Basilio looks in front of him and sees Isagani walk towards him.
ISAGANI
“Basilio, Ibarra. Sa tingin ko ito ay tungkol kay Maria
Clara. Kanina pa siya wala. Sana mahanap mo siya.”
BASILIO
(happy)
“...Salamat, Isagani.”

Isagani and Basilio fist bump each other and Basilio and Ibarra
both walk away to look for Maria Clara.
CUT TO:
6 INT/EXT. 1ST FLOOR HALLWAY - NOON

Ibarra and Basilio continue walking down the hallway, when

suddenly Ibarra stops and his expression changes from determined
to confusion.
BASILIO
(confused)
“Ibarra, okay ka lang?”
IBARRA
(worried)
“...May nangyayari.”
Ibarra’s ears start ringing. Basilio’s voice starts getting
muffled.
BASILIO
(muffled)
“Ano? Ano ang nangyayari? Anong meron sa mukha mo? Hoy,
Ibarra! sagutin mo ako!”
Ibarra gets to his senses and looks behind him. He sees a man
reloading a gun.
IBARRA
(scared)
“Basilio, tumakbo ka!”
Basilio looks behind him too and notices the man. He grabs
Ibarra, and they both run to the exit. The man aims at them,
pulls the trigger but both Ibarra and Basilio manage to get away
before the bullet could hit one of them.
SALVI
(shaking)
“…Esto no está bien.”

Salvi, the man who tried to kill Ibarra and Basilio, stands
there in fear. After a few seconds, he walks to the restroom
nearby.
CUT TO:

7 INT. RESTROOM - NOON

Salvi walks in the restroom. In the restroom, the assistant

leader of the Forajidos, Camorra, is standing against the wall,
along with his two members, Irene and Sibyla.
SALVI
(scared)
“Camorra, pasensya naman. Nakatakas sila. Lo… siento.”
Camorra walks to him and pulls out his hand, demanding for the
gun Salvi used. Salvi hands the gun to Camorra, and Camorra
pulls out a bullet from his pocket, inserts it in the gun,
reloads it and aims it at Salvi.
Salvi was in fear and steps backwards. Sibyla walks to Camorra.

SIBYLA
(shocked)
“Camorra!”
CAMORRA
(furious)
“¡Tapos ka na! ¡Estás muerto para mi!”
SIBYLA
“Camorra! ¡Cálma!”
CAMORRA
“¡Nandoon sila, ngunit nabigo kang matamaan sila! ¿Qué
sucedió? ¡¿Eh?! ¡Dígame! ¡Dígame!”
Sibyla tries to hold Camorra back. Irene walks closer to both.

 IRENE
“Camorra, tama na.”
Camorra lowers the gun. He then squats down and rubs his eyes in
frustration. He slowly steadies his breathing.
CAMORRA
“Siguradong papatayin tayo “niya” kapag nabigo tayo sa
trabaho.”
Camorra stands up and looks at Irene.
CAMORRA
“Irene, ikaw na. No… falles.”
IRENE
“…Si.”
Camorra walks out of the restroom. Salvi, Irene and Sibyla
follow him from behind.
CAMORRA
(thinking)
“Maghintay ka lang, Ibarra. Ikaw at ang iyong nakakainis na
kasama ay malapit nang mamatay.”

CUT TO:
8 INT/EXT CANTEEN - NOON

While walking near a canteen, Basilio realized that they had run
out of snacks and beverages and told Ibarra that they should buy
some. 
BASILIO
(Neutral)
“Ibarra, wala na tayong merienda at inumin, Tara punta tayo
doon at bumili.”

IBBARA
“Sige.”

 After going to the canteen, they search for a place to sit down,
and found some vacant seats to sit at.

BASILIO
(sigh of relief after sitting down)
“May pera ka ba? Pwede pa ako humingi para pambili.”

Before Ibarra could give the money, a strange man comes up to

them with some tea. As the guy gets closer, he soon knows who
the person was. 
BASILIO
(surprised)
“Irene! Matagal na nung huli tayong nagkita, namiss kita ng
sobra.”
IRENE
(happy)
“Miss na rin kita.”

Ibarra was stunned by the interaction between Basilio and Irene.

IBARRA
(confused)
“Sino siya?”
BASILIO
“Siya ay dati kong kaklase,na huminto ng pag-aaral dahil sa
mga personal na dahilan ”
IRENE
“Ah,hello po. Anong pinag usapang niyong dalawa?”
IBARRA
(stares at Basilio)
BASILIO
(staring back at Ibarra waiting for an answer)

IBARRA
 (sighs)
“Hinahanap namin ang nawawala kong asawa” 

IRENE
(wondering)
“Kumusta ang pag-unlad mo sa paghahanap sa asawa mo?”

Ibarra shows Irene the papers that he has. While Basilio is

drawing a sketch of Irene in the background
IBARRA
“Ang mga papel na ito ay ang tanging palatandaan na mayroon
kami.” 

BASILIO
(confident)
“Tingnan mo yung pagguhit ko sa iyo.”

IRENE
(surprised)
“WOW! Ang ganda ng drawing mo sa akin.”

While Basilio and Irene are chatting, Ibarra is just staring at

his tea, like it was a little suspicious, and if there was
something wrong about it. 

After Basilio and Irene are done talking, Basilio and Ibarra
thanks Irene for the refreshments.
BASILIO
(happy)
“Sige! Aalis na kami at salamat sa tsaa.”

IBARRA
 “Oo, aalis na kami at salamat sa tsaa.” 

IRENE
“Syempre naging kasiyahan ko iyon.”
Basilio and Ibarra went on a different direction from Irene
and waving him goodbye.
CUT TO:
9 INT/EXT. EMPTY HALLWAY (MEETUP WITH CAMORRA) - NOON

Irene approaches Camorra and the rest of the group

CAMORRA
“May natutunan ka ba sa usapan?”

Irene nods and then Camorra grinned after Irene’s reply.

CUT TO:
10 INT/EXT. RANDOM BUILDING - NOON
BASILIO
(crosses his arms while smiling)
“Ang bait talaga ni Irene. ‘Gaya sa na alaala ko”
IBARRA
(in a concerned expression with body language)
“Basilio, parang masyadong interesado siya, diba?”
(places both palms on head to show frustration)
(releases palms and goes neutral)
“Wag na lang, magpatuloy na tayo.”

They walked and approached a collection of strangers passing by.

IBARRA, BASILIO
 (inaudible talking with stranger #1, asking for Maria’s
whereabouts)

(shakes head)
IBARRA, BASILIO
(inaudible talking with stranger #2, asking for Maria’s
whereabouts, but uses gestures to detail her

At this point, Ibarra was losing hope fast. Basilio looks at him
with a concerned expression.
IBARRA
(tired)
“Basilio. Dapat butihan pa natin to.”

Just then, a man walks up to them with a serious expression.

FLORENTINO
“Paumanhin, nabalitaan ko na hinahanap niyo si “Maria
Clara”?”
IBARRA
“Sino ka?”
FLORENTINO
“...Halika, sundan niyo ako.”

Florentino walks slowly to a different direction. Ibarra and
Basilio look at each other. They were a bit hesitant, but they
knew that this man had something important that they needed to
know. They slowly followed Florentino, but they tried their best
to keep their distance just in case.

CUT TO:
11 EXT. BENCHES – NOON

The three sit down on the benches. Ibarra and Basilio had just
learned that the man they are talking to is Florentino, a butler
for a “local restaurant”.
BASLILIO
“Florentino,diba?”
Florentino nods his head in agreement.
BASLILIO
“Florentino, ba’t kilala mo si Maria Clara?”
FLORENTINO
“Kababata ko si Maria Clara.”

IBARRA
“Yes! This man Basilio. He can help us a lot.”
(looks at Florentino)
“Sabihin mo sa akin, ano pa ang masasabi mo tungkol sa aking
asawa?”
FLORENTINO
“Napaka bait niyang babae at madalas namin usapan ang aming
mga magkakatulad na gusto. Ba’t kasi nawala pa siya?!”
IBARRA
(confused)
“Kailan? bago lang ba?”
FLORENTINO
“...dalawang taon na mula noon.”

 IBARRA
(confused)
“Teka...”
(realization)
Ibarra realized that he met Maria Clara 2 years ago as well. He
recalls that he bumped into her while she was running away, all
scared. It started their love.

BASILIO
(confused)
“Ibarra?”
IBARRA
(snaps out of it)
“Ah, wala wala.”
FLORENTINO
“Ahh. Paumanhin pero, kailangan ko nang umalis. Sana mahanap
niyo si Maria Clara. Sabihan niyo sa kanya tungkol sa akin,
Ibarra.”
IBARRA
“Sige at salamat sas oras na binigay mo.”
Florentino gets up from the benches and walks away. As he walks
away far enough, Ibarra grabs Basilio’s arms and tries to get
him to follow.

BASILIO
“Ibarra? Anong ginagawa-”
IBARRA
“Shhhh. kahina-hinala ang lalaking ito. kailangan natin
malaman kung ano ba talaga ang tinatago niya.”

Ibarra starts slowly following Florentino while holding Basilio.

He was confused but decided to go with it anyway.

They find Florentino talking with 4 other people. But something
was not right. They looked… too suspicious to be normal people.

IBARRA
“Anong pakiramdam to?”
BASILIO
(confused)
“Ayos ka lang ba?”
IBARRA
(shaking)
“Hindi, A-”
Before Ibarra could finish, he and Basilio heard three words
from Florentino’s group that left them stunned.
CAMORRA
“Maria...... hanapit...... patayin.”
IBARRA
“Hindi, hindi...”
Basilio looks at the group. He noticed two familiar men in the
group.

It was Salvi, the man that tried to shoot them, and Irene, his
friend.
BASILIO
“Sandali lang! Ire-!”
Ibarra covers Basilio’s mouth to not blow their cover and then
they make a run for it.
The Forajidos (the group’s real identity) heard the shout but
ignored it and continued talking inaudibly.

CUT TO:

 12 EXT. ROAD - NOON

Both walked out of the scenario and were worried about what just
happened. Basilio looked at Ibarra and saw the fear in his eyes
overwhelming him.

BASILIO
“Oy, Ibarra-”
IBARRA
“Basilio, pasensya na at nadala kita sa gulo na ito.
naaksaya ko lang ang oras mo.”

Basilio looks at Ibarra, then laughs.

BASILIO
(laughing)
“Hindi ko talaga alintana, Masaya ako na nakasama kita, alam
natin na ito ay naging mahirap.”

Ibarra is slightly shocked, then smiles. They put their arms at

each other’s backs and continue their search.

BASILIO
“Ibarra, may kakilala ka bang may malapit na koneksyon sa
iyong asawa na maaaring mag-iwan sa atin ng ebidensya?

Ibarra thinks for a little bit and then slowly stops walking. He
suddenly remembers that he wrote down where Maria’s mother (Pia)
lived in case of emergencies. He quickly pulled out his notebook and
found Pia’s address.

CUT TO:

13 INT/EXT. PIA’S HOUSE - NOON

Ibarra hurriedly ran to where Pia lived while Basilio was

following behind Basilio, both arrived at the house, catching
their breath. Ibarra knocks on the door loudly.

IBARRA
(desperate)
“Tao po!? May tao ba diyan?”
PIA
“Sandali lang po!”

Pia opens the door and is surprised at who is at her house.

PIA
(Shock)
“Oh, ikaw lang pala, Ibarra, hali ka.”

Pia closes the door and lets the two men sit in the chairs,
while Pia wonders why Basilio is here.

PIA
“Kamusta ka na, Ibarra, ba’t nakapunta ka dito?”

IBARRA
“May mga tanong lang kami, Tita, may isang grupo kaming
nakita na gustong pumatay sa ‘min ‘tsaka nakidnap si Maria
Clara.”

There was a short moment of silence in the room, but Pia gave
him her answer.
PIA
(Nervous)
“Basilio, Ang natagpuan ni yong grupo ay ang “Forijados”.
Sila ang mga kaaway ng aking pamilya noon pa naman. Aking
ama, Kapitan Tiago, ay mayroong masamang relasyon sa kanila.
Masyadong lulamala ang away noong nakalipas na dalawang taon
at dahil nito, Umalis si Maria Clara.”

Ibarra is worried about what might happen to Maria and is

shaking in fear, Basilio notices this and hits him to make
Ibarra focus.

BASILIO
(Shouting)
“Ibarra! Umayos ka! Mag Isip ka nang maayos.”
IBARRA
“Tita, Nasaan po si Maria Clara ngayon?”
PIA
“Hindi ko kayang sabihin kung nasan ang anak ko ngayon, ito
ay masyadong mapanganib?”
IBARRA
“Pero, Tita parang awa na kailangan ku-”
(door slams)

Ibarra is desperate to know where his lover is, so he keeps on

banging on the door furiously.

IBARRA
(banging on the door repeatedly)
“PARANG AWA MO NA KAILANGAN KONG MALAMAN KUNG NASAAN SIYA.”

 Then Florentino arrived after Ibarra saw him, He ran very
quickly to him and grabbed the collar of his shirt, while
Florentino had no intention of fighting back.

IBARRA
(Grabbed Florentino by the collar or shirt and starts
shouting)
“IKAW!!! NASAAN SIYA, NASAAN AKING ASAWA, SAAN NIYO SIYA
NAKULONG!?”

FLORENTINO
“Sasabihin ko sayo ang lahat kung ikaw ay huminahon, pag-
uusapan natin ito sa isang lugar para makapag-usap tayo ng
maayos.”

Ibarra takes a deep breath and calms himself down.

CUT TO:
14 INT. SECRET ROOM – NOON

Florentino asks them to sit with him and lets out a loud sigh
and tells everything.

FLORENTINO
(serious)
“Si Maria CLara ay matalik kong kaibigan noong bata pa kami.
Para na kaming magkakapatid. Sumali lang ako sa mga
Forijados para protektahan si Maria at ang kanyang pamilya.”

The duo gave a shocked face to Florentino not knowing all of

this.

 IBARRA
(shocked)
“Kung tutuusin, Ikaw ang dahilan kung bakit hindi pa
nakikita si Maria.”

FLORENTINO
“Binalaan ko si Maria ilang taon na ang nakaraan tungkol sa
mga Forijados, ngunit ang pagkawala niya noong nakaraan na
dalawang taon ay nagpahirap sa akin na tumulong.”

Florentino shows a worried face as maybe the duo would start

hating on him and he stands up from the chair.

FLORENTINO
“kung galit ka sa akin,naiintindihan ko pero wala akong
intensyon na saktan siya, gusto ko lang na magkaroon siya ng
magandang buhay.”

The duo then gave Florentino a small smile then talks again to
him.

BASILIO
“Naiintindihan na namin. Paumanhin, para sa aming desisyon.”

FLORENTINO
“Maraming Salamat, Basilio.”

Florentino and the duo hug each other and gives each other a
smile.

Florentino offers them to sit back again while giving them a cup
of tea.

 FLORENTINO
“Pasensya na kung ito lang ang makakaya ko. Gusto kitang
bayaran sa pag alaga kay Maria ng dalawang taon.”

Ibarra was a little hesitant to accept it, but Basilio said to

him that Florentino’s doing them a favor.

Ibarra sighs and accepts the tea. The duo took turns drinking
the cup. Florentino leaves the room.

After the two had their drink, they both get up leaving the room
but as they leave the room, Basilio started feeling dizzy.

BASILIO
“... Ibarra.”

Basilio then collapses on the floor.

Ibarra looks behind him and finds Basilio knocked down,
unconscious.

IBARRA
“... Basilio? -”
But then Ibarra also felt a spiky sensation hit his chest and
then, he also collapsed on the floor along with Basilio.
CUT TO:
15 INT. SECRET ROOM – DUSK
The scene opens with Ibarra slowly getting more conscious and
having his vision clearer. He realizes that he’s being tied on a
chair with a now conscious Basilio, Ibarra feels an ounce of
anxiety and he starts to have heavy breathing.

 IBARRA
(Heavy breathing)
“Anong nangyari? Basilio-?”
Basilio slowly turns his head to Ibarra, Basilio’s eyes shake as
He looks at Ibarra.
BASILIO
“Florentino... walang hiyang-”
The door slowly opens with Camorra, Irene, Salvi, Sibyla, Pia...
and him. Padre Damaso. The General himself, carrying with him a
sinister look.

As they walk in front of Ibarra and Basilio, Ibarra remembers a

memory of his father who’s suffering in an isolated prison
trying to argue with padre Damaso. As Ibarra recognizes their
faces, he gets aggressive, tries to break free with the
intention to fight him but he couldn’t since he was tied to a
chair.

Camorra takes a chair from the corner and places it in

front of Ibarra and Basilio as he tells the General that he
could sit now and so the General took his service and sat down
in the chair.

DAMASO
(calmly)
“Alam mo, maliit lang ang parte ni Florentino sa lahat nato.
Siya’y aming kakampi sa Forajidos, siya ang aming mayordomo.
Gina it namin siya para mahuli kayong dalawa, at tsaka si
Pia na nagbibigay ng impormasyon tungkol sa amin.”

Basilio looks at Irene and felt disgusted over what happened,

but Irene turned his head into the other direction to avoid
feeling guilt.

 IBARRA
(angrily)
“Nakakasuka kang aso!”

General raised his gun to Basilio.

GENERAL
(angry but calm)
“Ibarra. Tigilan mo, o makukuha ang bata ng ito.”
BASILIO
(desperate and in fear)
“Tigil na ... pakiusap!”
IBARRA
(calm)
“Ganito na lang, maglagay tayo ng pusta. Pa aawayin sina
Ibarra at Camorra at kapag magtagumpay si Camorra, titigil
na ako dito.”

General was hesitant about what Ibarra said but lowered his gun
and agrees to Basilio’s deal.

GENERAL
(looks at the rest of the Forajidos)
“Todos, váyanse.”

All of them left the room and left Basilio and Ibarra. After
they left, it was just dead silence in the room. After a while
Pia finally spoke up.

 PIA
(shaking)
“Si Padre Damaso ay napakasama, noon, inatake niya ako, na
siyang dahilan bilang totoo na ama ni Maria Clara.”

A flashback plays of Pia getting pinned down on the floor, and

Damaso assaulting her.

PIA
(teary)
“Ipinagbawal kong makita niya si Maria, kaya't nakikipag
tulungan siya sa mga Forijado upang magawa ito.”

Tears run down the face of Pia, as she soon burst out crying as
she failed to protect her child, as Ibarra could do nothing but
seeing a mother cry.

During Pia’s cries, Padre Damaso and the rest walk inside the
room.
DAMASO
“Camorra. kalasin mo ang batang iyan.”
CAMORRA
(confused)
“¿Te refieres a ese niño Basilio??”
DAMASO
“Si, pero hindi pa tayo tapos diyan.”
Camorra unties Basilio from his chair, and Padre Damaso pulls
out handcuffs he kept hanging at the side of his pants. He looks
at Sibyla.
DAMASO
“Ikaw, itali mo ang batang yan nito. Bigyan natin siya ng
mas mababang bentahe.”

Padre Damaso sits down. Sibyla quickly went to work with putting
on the handcuffs on Basilio’s wrists, from the front. Basilio
looks at Camorra.
BASILIO
“Pakiusap, hindi mo kailangan-”
Before Basilio could finish his sentence, Camorra punches his
shoulder, knocking him down to the floor. Camorra continues
punching Basilio while he lies down on the floor, helpless.
Ibarra just watched it all happen, but he managed to trick the
Forajidos by secretly untying himself.
Ibarra quickly grabs the gun from Padre Damaso and shoots him at
the stomach.
The room was silent. Everyone stared as Padre Damaso slowly
falls from his chair and collapses on the floor.
Sibyla quickly tries to reach for his gun, but Ibarra shoots him
in the head before he could grab it.
Because of fear, Irene, and Salvi both ran out of the room.

CAMORRA
(vexed)
“...Pinatay mo siya.”
Ibarra tries to shoot Camorra, but the gun ran out of bullets.
Ibarra drops the gun and steps back.
Camorra, without a word, angrily walks up to Ibarra, but it gave
Basilio a moment to fight back.
Basilio, without thinking, wraps the cuffs around Camorra’s neck
and tries to choke him.
Camorra tries to resist, but Basilio had the upper hand this
time.
While they both fight for their lives, Ibarra opens a nearby
cabinet and finds 3 pieces of cloth. He grabs all 3 and puts one
on each of the bodies lying down, Sibyla and Padre Damaso.
Basilio finally finishes off Camorra by cracking his neck,
killing Camorra instantly. He quickly grabs the keys in Padre
Damaso’s pocket and frees himself.

 IBARRA
“Basilio, pasensya na kung pinagaway ko kayo.”
Ibarra gives the last piece of cloth to Basilio, and he puts it
on Camorra’s dead body.
IBARRA
“Wag kang mag sorry. Katapusan ko na kung hindi mo iyon
naisip.”

Before they could decide what to do next, Florentino walks in

the room. He was shocked to see that half of the Forajidos had
been killed. He later calmed himself down.
FLORENTINO
“Ibarra. Basilio. Pia. Pasensya na nangyari. Hindi ko gusto
na nangyari ito lahat. Para makabawi sa iyo , may sorpresa
ako, may naghihintay sayo dito.”

A person walks in the room, and that person’s presence widens

both Basilio and Ibarra’s eyes.
It was her.
It was finally her.
IT WAS MARIA CLARA.
Without hesitation, Ibarra ran over to her and gave her a big
hug. He started tearing up, filled with joy.

MARIA CLARA
“Ibarra, mahal. patawad. Ginawa mo ang lahat ng ito para
lang sa akin.”
IBARRA
“Hindi ka dapat humingi ng tawad! Natutuwa ako na nandito
ka. Oh, matagal ko na inaasam iyong kabutihan at
kagandahan.”

 FLORENTINO
“Sinigurado ko na hindi nasaktan si Pia at Maria Clara.
Parte man akong Forajidos, pero prayoridad ko ang kanilang
kaligtasan”
Basilio starts tearing up as well, he sighs in relief, thinking
that it was all over.
Or was it?
Two bullets were fired suddenly. Ibarra and Basilio look behind
them.
They find Padre Damaso, still barely alive, holding the gun that
Ibarra had dropped. He reloaded it secretly. He was also holding
the gun of Sibyla.
Ibarra and Basilio look over to Maria Clara and Pia.
It was too late. WAY TOO LATE. Florentino was holding on to both
Maria Clara and Pia, both wounded from the shots. That was it.
Ibarra had enough.
He sprints over to Padre Damaso, slaps the guns off his hand and
shakes him on the ground.

IBARRA
“BAKIT MO YON GINAWA?! IKAW! DAMA-”
Padre Damaso grins at Ibarra. He starts laughing evilly and
eventually perishes.
Ibarra rushes over to Maria Clara. He starts crying and puts his
hands on Maria’s.

IBARRA
“Pasensya, Pasensya! Wala talaga akong kwenta.”
MARIA CLARA
(coughing blood)
“Mahal. Hindi ka inutil. nahanap mo ako. Sapat na yon para
sa akin.”

Maria looks over to his mother, who is smiling at her. She
smiles back. They both pass.
Maria’s smile still stays the same.
The room was silent. Florentino was unsure on what to do.
Basilio was just standing there, shocked. Ibarra cried next to
Maria’s dead body.
In the end, Padre Damaso had the last laugh.
