‫‪Question-Tags‬‬ ‫األسئلة المذيلة‬

‫‪ - 1‬عبارة عن سؤال مختصر يخالف الجملة من حيث اإلثبات أو ألنفي ‪ ,‬ويساوى فى اللغة العربية (اليس كذلك؟) ‪.‬‬
‫‪ - 2‬يستخدم للتأكد من ان المستمع يتفق معك فى الرأى‪.‬‬
‫‪ -3‬نستخدم نفس الفعل المساعد الموجود فى الجملة مثل ‪:‬‬
‫)……‪(am - is –are- was -were- will- would‬‬
‫‪Ex:‬‬
‫?‪Marwa is clever, isn't she‬‬
 : ‫اذا لم يوجد فعل مساعد نستخدم‬-4
(do- does -did)
Ex:
He came by car, didn't he?

Notes: ‫هناك حاالت خاصة‬

1- (Everyone – Everybody – someone - somebody- no one - nobody- anybody
Neither of them- both of them)
They ‫تعامل معاملة الجمع وتستبدل بالضمير‬
Ex:
 Everyone answered the test, didn't they?

2- (Everything – nothing- something-anything)

It‫تعامل معاملة المفرد وتستبدل بالضمير‬
Ex:
 Everything is all right, isn't it?

3- ( hardly - rarely- seldom - scarcely - never - no longer - I don't think)

)‫هذه الكلمات تعبر عن النفى (يصبح السؤال مثبت‬
Ex:
They never tell lies, do they?

4- Let's = suggestion = shall we? Let us = permission = will you?

Ex:
 Let's go for a walk, shall we?
 Let us do our homework, will we?

5- I'd rather = would rather. I'd better = had better.

Ex:
 I'd rather have some tea, wouldn't I?

(verb to do) ‫( رئيسى فى الجملة فيكون السؤال باستخدام‬have) ‫ اذا كان الفعل‬- 6
(verb to have)‫اما اذا كان فعل مساعد فيكون السؤال باستخدام‬
Ex:
He has dinner with his family, doesn’t he?
He has played in the club, hasn't he?
 (will you) ‫ االمر المثبت واالمر المنفى‬-7
Ex:
 Open the door, will you?
 Don't make any trouble, will you?

8- I am not = am I? I'm = aren't I?

Ex:
 I'm surprised to be here, aren't I?
 I am not a mechanic, am I?

9- This- that = it. These – those = they

There = There.
Ex:
 This is your pencil, isn't it?
 These are my books, aren't they?
There is a meeting today, isn't there?
 What a nice day, isn't it?

Choose:
1- It stopped raining, (isn’t it – hasn’t it – didn’t it – doesn’t)?
2- No one answered the question (did he- didn’t they – did they – didn’t he)?
3- I’d rather listen to Najat , ( hadn’t – would I – wouldn’t I – did I ) ?
4-You’d better organize your time (would you –hadn’t you–wouldn’t you –did I )
5- It’s been raining, (is it – isn’t it – hasn’t it - has it)
6- It’s supposed to rain, (hasn’t it – has it – isn’t it – is it)?
7- Taxis don’t stop for countrymen, funny. (do they – don’t they – didn’t they – aren’t they) ?
8- They never work hard, (do they – don’t they – didn’t they – aren’t they)?
10- Computers seldom makes mistakes, (don’t they – do they – aren’t they – do it)?
11-Neither of them is absent, (is they – aren’t they – do they – are they)?
12-I’m a good teacher , ( aren’t I – do I – am I – I are ) ?
13- Let’s go to the cinema, (will you – shall we – do we – don’t we)?
14- Let us visit him, (will you – shall we – don’t you – shan’t we)?
15- I had some tea , ( hadn’t I – hadn’t you – didn’t you – didn’t I ) ?
16- Turn on the light, (do you – will you – don’t you – didn’t you)?
