Demi Lovato announced to the world that she had been diagnosed with bipolar
disorder. This was done when she entered rehab in 2011 since she was struggling
with bulimia, cutting, and drug addiction. She was having lots of problems personally
and as well professionally. She even hit a backup dancer on stage on one of her tours,
as well getting involved in drugs and other behaviors that can be considered incorrect.

Looking into details she mentions some of the symptoms that she had which I listed
below:

● feeling sad or hopeless for long periods of time

● withdrawing from friends and family
● losing interest in activities that you once enjoyed
● having a significant change in appetite
● feeling severe fatigue or lack of energy

She has overcome those obstacles in different

ways, Demi maintains her mental health and
sobriety by working out for an hour to an hour
and a half every day. “I actually exercise as
much as possible because there’s something
that it does—it just helps,” the singer says,
explaining that they enjoy a mix of circuit
training, cycling, and hiking. “I used to meditate
every day, as well. I don’t do that as often
[anymore] because I feel like exercise is kind of
a form of meditation for me—what it does to me
spiritually and physically.”

She has as well been part of organizations that help people overcome their mental
illness and have a better lifestyle. You will find some of their campaigns here in the

Adele

Adele has been loved by her many inspiring songs however there is a part of her that
she has not been ashamed of, and that is Postpartum Depression. She has always
been open about how this has affected her. In her own words she said in a interview
with Vanity Fair

“My knowledge of postpartum—or post-natal, as we call it in England—is that you don’t

want to be with your child; you’re worried you might hurt your child; you’re worried you
weren’t doing a good job,” and “But I was obsessed with my child. I felt very
inadequate; I felt like I’d made the worst decision of my life.”

After having the baby Adele had lots of problems and she did know what to do, at one
point she got isolated from her own family and friends. This happened for two weeks
where she did not want to see anyone and not even his new born baby. Family and
friends try sending her pictures of her family and friends. THe family was always
behind baking her up. Adele has only one thing that she did to overcome the obstacle
of Postpartum Depression, she has found out that if 1 day a week she does whatever
she wants. She usually feels that helps her and she states does not feel bad leaving
her son with their family members.
