Description: This app lesson will develop kindergarten students' plant and animal
knowledge.

Instructional Objective: Students will be able to... Describe certain things plants and
animals do to enhance their survival rates

Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will… Utilize the quiz feature and
take quizzes on plant and animal life. They will compete against the other students,
almost using this as a game and not actually for a test grade

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will… go into the program and click
on the facts tab, and read about the animal and plant facts. They will fill out a worksheet
that goes along with it

Progress): Students will… have to create a poster at the end with the information they
learned from the two apps
