    STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

    Generally, the purpose of this research is to determine the negative effects of smartphone on the
    scholastic achievement on grades of the students in BENHS.

    Specifically, this research will determine the following:

    I. Demographic Profile:
    A. Age
    B. Grade level
    C. Phone brand

    II. The perceived importance of the respondent in terms of:


    A. Hours spent on a smartphone
    B. Apps that is used
    C. Frequency of the smartphone being brought in the school

    III. What are the effects of smartphones to the respondents in terms of:
    A. Scores on the activities and Quizzes
    B. Performance on class
    C. Grades
