GRADE 10 CAREER GUIDANCE

Accomplishment Report

April 27, 2021

As the school year 2020-2021 approaches to an end, the Grade 10 students are already required to
choose their senior high school track and strand in order for them to have a clear path for their dream
careers. The Grade 10 students need to undergo a career guidance program yet due to the COVID-19
pandemic the face-to-face activity is impossible.

Therefore, the Career Guidance adviser of Sto. Tomas National High School (STNHS) Ms. Marie Tina
Gabriel led the online career guidance activity in coordination with the Supreme Student Government
(SSG) of STNHS. The activity was implemented on April 27 of 2021 held at the Grade 10 group chat in FB
Messenger.

The career guidance was actively joined by the Grade 10 students where they respectfully participated
throughout the program.

Ms. Marie Tina Gabriel discussed the different senior high school tracks and the strands under each of it.
Thus, she focused more on discussing and enumerating the tracks and strands offered in STNHS. She
discussed the definition and the jobs under each strand to enable the students to have a clear vision of
the strands.

The activity was overall successful as it accomplished its objectives on informing and guiding the
students on choosing their proper senior high school track and strand based on their abilities and
interests.
