CASE STORY TITLE: Natural Reserve Institute of Barangay Bayalse

Conflict Identification

Barangay Bayalse is going through a circumstance that has a substantial impact on

several elements of their lives because of climate change or global warming. Drought,
landslides, and flooding have all been ongoing. Some of the effects of climate change
include these. As a result, there were accidents, fatalities, and property losses. Food
shortages became their main issue after the disaster. The primary sources of revenue for
Barangay Bayalse, farming and fishing, have been impacted by climate change. They lost
access to help because of ongoing flooding and landslides in their neighborhood. They
are also unprepared to assess crises and come up with solutions.

Plan of Action

In order to have a physical impact, I would love to speak at a session on

catastrophe risk reduction that would include how to handle emergencies. It covers first

aid techniques and necessary actions to take before, during, and after disasters. This

action will increase public awareness and aid to limit potential casualties and damages.

I'll also host another lecture where we'll talk about mental health. People tend to get

paranoid and unable to think clearly during disasters. Because mental health matters, we

should assist them in coping with this kind of stress.

Reflection

I discovered via this action how climate change does have a significant impact on

our daily life. To halt this, we must devise a remedy. Everyone should be aware that they

are causing climate change, and that we can all do our part to stop it by establishing more

forests and using less plastic. These straightforward measures can benefit the

environment.
