LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH 7

I. Objectives:
at the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to:
a) Differentiate linear from non-linear texts;
b) Use non-linear texts to interpret data; and
c) Demonstrate understanding of the importance of linear and
non-linear texts.

II. Subject Matter


a) Topic : Transcode information from linear to non-linear texts
and vice-versa (EN8RC-IIe-11).

c) Instructional Materials: PowerPoint Presentation,
Picture/Poster.

B. Motivation (Guess it to Win It!)


 The class will be divided into two groups.
 The learners will guess the pictures flashed on the screen.
 Five seconds time limit will be given for each picture.
 Scrambled letters will be provided to students as their clue to
identify the picture.
 The first group to guess the correct answer will get one point.
 A group with the highest score will win the prize!

C. Activity
 Students will determine whether each statement refers to
linear or non-linear texts.
