Ann: Good day everyone, we are going to introduce you to some eco friendly brands of
clothing, thrift stores and bene ts!

Ant: Eco-friendly literally means Earth-friendly or not harmful to the environment, which
means that eco friendly stores and clothes are good for the environment and for you!

Ann: A thrift store is another thing tho, in a thrift store you buy second hand or outdated
brands of clothing, you can nd clothes that famous stores grow out because they are out of
season.

Ant: the bene t of something eco friendly is something we all can enjoy.

Ann: climate change is a really big problem and by using recycled and eco friendly products
we can slowly help with the damage.

Ant: it helps with health issues, saving up money, reduction of pollution and toxic waste.

Ann: here in Spain we can nd some of these stores, like back to roots.

Ant: Back to roots it’s an eco friendly brand that with every purchase part of the bene t
goes to the reforestation of Madre de Dios with a rainforest located in Peru, not only that but by
selecting speci c products they plant 2 trees and even give you a certi cate for it.

Ann: Betrece is another example, but this time their clothes are madre from recycled
materials, like leftover wool or scraps of previous clothing and even bags made out of recycled
plastic.

Ant: Percentil is a thrift store, you can buy outdated products at even a 85% discount, you
can get fashionable clothing and second at a reasonable price, good quality and without any
waste of clothes to the environment.

Ann: to wrap up these class you what I’m wearing it’s all thrifted and eco friendly, it’s like
I’m wearing usual clothing. There is no difference, and it’s good for the planet ! We wanted to
show you that you don’t need to dress up with harmful brands of clothing to be fashionable, and
you could also save a lot of money in the process.

Ant: you can create your own styles while doing the Earth a favor, you could even buy
outdated products from very famous brands that wouldn’t sell and be thrown away otherwise, for
a lot cheaper.
