Course Title: ENTREPRENEURSHIP


Course Credits: 4 units Contact Hours/ Week: 4 hours per week
Course Description This course dwells on basic entrepreneurial concept and practices. It
includes topics such as personal entrepreneurial concepts environment
and market.
Number of hours: 54 hours
Course Learning Content: At the end of this course, the students should be able to develop:

Knowledge:
1. Identify the four phases of the creative process
2. Determine the characteristics of a creative person
3. Explain the role of creativity in the innovation process
4. Discuss the four sources of innovation.
5. Identify the procedures in putting up a small business
6. Discuss the different types and forms of business organizations;
their advantages and disadvantages
7. Decide on the best form of business organization for a small
business
8. Explore business opportunities.
