Balanga Elementary School heldits first Virtual Flag Ceremony for the month of October last
October 4, 2021 via Google Meet and was broadcasted live on Facebook in which teachers and pupils
participated.
With Mrs. Cleofe Delos Reyes as the emcee for the virtual flag ceremony, the program started
with the singing of the national anthem and followed by a prayer via AVP. Pupils lead the Panunumpa sa
Watawat ng Pilipinas followed by Panatang Makabayan. Panunumpa sa Kalikasan and Panatang
Makapalay followed. The DEPED Vision and Mission as well as its Core Values was also recited. For
the teachers, Mrs. Alyn Mendiola lead the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan. Then, singing of Awit ng
Rehiyon III and Dugong Balangueno followed.
The School Faculty President, Ms. Evelyn Gaita gave a very warm and welcoming message to the
teachers as well as the pupils. She first thanked everyone, the teachers and the pupils for joining the flag
ceremony virtually and reminded everyone to join every Monday. She reminded everyone for the
upcoming event which is the Teachers’ Day and encouraged the pupils to thanked their teachers as well as
their parents to show their appreciation to the teachers and parents who guides them in their learning.
After her opening remarks, Mrs. May Limsuyang, the reading coordinator then presented the second
batch of winners for the Brigada sa Pagbasa Contest which is the Pamilyang Sama-Samang bumabasa sa
Panahon ng Pandemya. She later congratulated the families who participated in the said contest.
This was a Special Monday as the next day was the Teachers’ Day so in celebration of the
teachers’ day, they showed video presentation in commemoration for the teachers’ hardwork. The first
part is the Awarding of Recognition to all seasoned teachers or what we call “Taga sa Panahon” in each
grade level. This is for recognition and appreciation for the teachers who are in service for the longest
time and still very passionate in their teaching today.
The presentations of the Video Messages, poems and Songs from Kindergarten and Grade 6
pupils which was dedicated to the Balanga Elementary School teachers followed. The Grade 6 pupils who
dedicated songs to the teachers were Alhena Shen Valdes from 6-Courage and Alecksi Miguel Tatel
from 6-SPED. Lastly, BES prepared a tribute Videos to the teachers and principal of Balanga Elementary
School who lost their lives in the Pandemic. This is to give appreciation and thanks to these teachers who
became a huge part of the BES Teachers and Pupils’ lives. This is to honor these fallen heroes who
became a blessing and will still became an inspiration of hard work, passion and dedication to everyone.
To end the Program, a teachers’ prayer was dedicated and offered to teachers and Mr. Randy
Tallorin ended the program with his Closing Remarks.
