    PHILIPPINES
    Plenty of resources, yet poverty prevails
    Hope for progress, yet hindered by corruptions
    Industries and resources abound,
    Lacking only good governance to be found.
    Islands of pristine beauty and more,
    Plethora of cultures that we adore,
    Problems of poverty that still endure,
    In our hands, the treasure we hold
    Nothing less than a mountain of gold
    Each avenue to progress, let's implore,
    So that the Philippines may rise and soar.
