Lesson development:
1. Next to the ‘play’ bubble map, brainstorm all the other free time activities from the unit.
2. Elicit from pupils what they do on different days to demonstrate the activity.
3. Distribute poem templates to the pupils.
4. Guide pupils to write and illustrate their poems.
5. Go around the class to check and help as pupils are working.
Post-lesson:
1. Pupils name a few free time activities. Write pupils’ responses on the board in circle map
form.Invite pupils to present their poems to the class.
2. Guide them if necessary.
3. Display pupils’ poems around the classroom.
4. Teacher and peer give feedbacks.

6. Discuss the answers with pupils.
7. Pupils work in pairs.
8. Distribute task sheets to pupils.
9. Pupils ask and answer in pairs.
10. Pupils record their partner’s responses in the task sheets given.

1. Guide pupils to report back to the class about their partner.
2. Check pupils’ work and give feedback.
