For this 1 day implementation, around 3 hours of community work (3 hours
for the preparation of the place and lecture)
Objectives of the Project This project's overarching goal is to benefit people in Brgy. Canarvacanan
about the importance of properly segregatig waste and performing the 3 R's,
which are reduce, reuse, and recycling of waste materials. The following
goals have been established to that end:
1. To educate participants on the significance of proper waste disposal.
2. to raise residents' awareness of the benefits of waste
3. Obtaining public support for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
through waste segregation.
Project Description a. Background of the project
- Many people today do not recognize the value of having a clean
and green environment in our society. As a result, most of us tend to
forget the value of each and every species on Earth, because we
don't consider the consequences of our actions, such as littering
and polluting our environment. This situation raises the issue of
climate change, as we are experiencing a high temperature index,
as evidenced by the occurrence of numerous typhoons that have
devastated certain areas of our country. As a result, improper waste
disposal and the increasing amount of trash and garbage produced
are two major issues that people face, not only in our community but
globally. Problems with improper waste disposal have led to clogged
drains.
b. Justification of the project

c. Benefits derived from the project

- The project will benefit the target audience by implementing waste
segregation to prevent diseases or illnesses that are the caused of
improper garbage disposal and a dirty environment. It will also
benefit the community because this program will pave the way for a
cleaner and greener community in our area, and by segregating
 waste, we can prevent flash floods and disease outbreaks. It will
benefit the entire world by reducing greenhouse gas emissions that
cause climate change.

d. Coverage
- This project will benefit the residents of Brgy. Canarvacanan,
especially in Zone 3, will assist their household, particularly parents
who are left alone in their homes or housewives.
