Field of Training: Library
The Department of Education ensures the credentials of the Senior
High School Students. Having ten (10) days of Work Immersion equivalent
to 80 hours. Whereas the students would be assigned in a different
institutions or workplace where they can enhance their skills and applied
what they have learned in the corners of their classroom. Through the
partnership institution, DepEd hopes that the partner institutions will
provide learners with work immersion opportunities, in actual workplace or
hands-on experience, and additional learning resources.
On April 24 of this year, we officially deployed and began our Work
Immersion at the designated location. I was legally required to apply right
away to the Learning and Information Resource Center of Davao del Norte
State College. Fortunately, I was regarded as one of their trainees for the
work immersion program.
