At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. identify multimedia resources;
b. classify different types of multimedia resources through analyzing the
different scenarios;
c. apply the usage of multimedia resources through group activity;
d. realize the significance of using correct multimedia resources by sharing their
ideas.

II- SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Use Correct and Appropriate Multimedia Resources
Content Standard: The learner demonstrates communicative competence through his/ her
understanding of Philippine Literature and other texts types for a deeper appreciation of
Philippine Culture.

2. Motivation
 Project a picture on the screen.

 Ask questions to make the students develop their Higher Order Thinking Skills
(HOTS) and to express their ideas about the picture.
3. Lesson Proper
A. Activity “Connecting to the World”
 Project the following pictures on the screen.

 The teacher will be dividing the class into three (3) groups.
 The students will write 1 sentence per picture about its usage.
 The first group to complete and post their output on the board will receive the
highest points.
B. Analysis
 Direct students’ attention to Multimedia Resources.
 Project again on the screen the pictures used in the activity “Connecting to the
World”.
 Put all the pictures together to create a what we call multimedia.
C. Abstraction
1. The teacher will discuss the following:
a. What is a Multimedia?

b. What are the different types of multimedia?

D. Application “Identification Game”


 With the same group, the students will identify what multimedia resources will
be use in the different scenarios.
 The teacher will provide flash cards in every group containing the different
types of multimedia resources.
 The students will raise their answer after the cue of the teacher.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Group Task:

Perform the task assigned to your group and identify what type of multimedia resource it is.

Group 1: Film yourself while performing a dance.


Group 2: Choose your favorite song and record yourself while singing the song.
Group 3: Using powerpoint slides, present your favorite artists and their biography.
Criteria:
