POSSIBLE ANSWERS

Extension/Reflection Questions
- Elements of Visual Design are the lines, shapes, sizes, texture, color,
and value; and; to arrange and improve these elements for user
interactivity, a designer should apply the Principles of Visual Design.

- Principles of Visual Graphic Design is very important because this

will guide every designer of a well-achieved/well-attained output.

Safety Questions
- a. Limit the use of computers/gadgets as much as possible or take a
break away from your monitor 2-4 feet away from the screen, a
minute break will make a difference; b. if you are using laptop, keep it
off your lap to avoid infertility issues (EMF radiation can be
dangerous); c. get rid of wireless accessories as much as you can.
Wireless periphery devices can themselves emit a small radio
frequency field that can be harmful, you will always be better off going
wired whenever you can; d. wear eye glasses/eye protector e. Place
some plants around the area to help absorb and dissolve EMF radition

- To ensure safety and prevent minor and major accidents

Job Role and Environment Questions

-As a person who knows the principles of visual design, give your
suggestions possitively. Show the client your ready made
layouts/designs nearest to his/her requested specifications for
him/her to appreciate the idea.

- As head of the team, it’s your look out to finalize layouts. Part of the
orientation should be- the head will first check, finalize, and give “go
signal” before printing for correct output. But if it has been printed,
then take responsibility, acknowledge customers emotion about the
mistake then offer solution. Afterthen, seat & settle with your layout
artist to avoid the same problem to happen, instruct to always run
spell-check.

Contingency/Infrequent Events Questions

-Make sure to have a back up copy of important files. If in case, you
don’t have backup, use the remaining time to re-design, that’s the
best thing to do.

-You may: 1. Ask somebody from your office to send you the copy
through mail or in any electronic form. Or 2. Call your client that
you’ll be late, and get the file ASAP
*Checklist would be of great help so not to forget all important
matters. You travel 30kms away only to find out that you don’t have
the layout to present to your client. Check all/necessary files 1 day or
2 days prior to meeting/scheduled activities.
