Using Different Sources of Information in Reading

There are many different types of information sources. In this module, we

focus only on the three sources of information namely: selection, announcement,
and pictures.
A selection gives us brief idea and pictures about something being discuss or
describe in the selection. We can create pictures based on the information given in
the selection you read.
Announcement can answer the wh- questions such as what, where, who,
why, and when on the important information being announced.
Picture also gives us information. We can create story out of a picture. We
can infer and predict something happen in a picture.

ACTIVITY 1

Direction: Read the selection and encircle the letter of the correct answer.

Rina has a little garden in front of their house. All kinds of plants grow there.
