5. Activity 1:
a. Pupils look at the picture in the Student's Book pg 60.
b. Elicit who they can see (lots of children) and that they are doing lots of different activities. Pre-teach busy.
c. Play the recording. Pupils follow the song in their Student's Books.
d. Play the recording again, pausing after each verse for pupils to repeat.
e. When pupils have learnt the song, practise it with the whole class.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT

f. Use the karaoke version of the song for pupils to sing in groups.
g. Elicit/ check pupils' understanding of other vocabulary using the pictures.
6. Activity 2:
a. Play the recording again. Pupils listen, read and point to the day of the week. (Assessment)
b. Elicit from the pupils what the children are doing that day. e.g. On Saturdays they sing.
c. Pupils work in pairs / small groups.
d. Distribute jigsaw pieces to pairs / groups.
e. Pupils read the sentences and match them to the corresponding pictures. (Assessment)
7. Activity 3:
a. Distribute the worksheet.
b. Pupils read the text and tick ()the box.
